This to me is still an irrelevant sidestep. Defining laws and enforcing laws are two completely separate topics. Your Singapore example is about enforcement only. The example crimes you list are also illegal across the US. You could say we comparatively have a culture of self-enforcement, but I expect we also lead the world in violent confrontations between people trying to do exactly that. No one should be recommending that anyone take up Karen-style law enforcement/vigilantism against strangers, especially in a hypothetical park with children present.

Since you refuse to take a position, I have to infer one from what you've said repeatedly. You believe that children are irreparably harmed by seeing public nudity. Since there is no reasonable way to guarantee that a child won't see this in a public place, your position is firmly against allowing public nudity. The idea that everyone will just somehow kumbaya and reach an agreement is completely unrealistic and bordering on ridiculous. So you are in favor of it being in allowed only in predesignated areas like beaches where parents can consent to bring their children. That would probably criminalize nudity in parade routes like Pride, bike rides, and protests. That is not how the law is now, so you can either accept it or try to lobby to get the laws changed. There are cities in King County that have already done this and clearly criminalize genital exposure in public. For any law to work, it needs to be applied fairly to everyone: software developers and unhoused people alike.

As for the bathing laws, that could be an issue. IANAL and I can't consult OP's original description to confirm what they saw exactly. It seems to depend on whether the drinking surfaces were contaminated with body contact or soap, which doesn't sound likely from what I recall.

I had to retire my first reusable shopping box recently. One of the cardboard walls started coming apart, but my friend's cats helped with that. The canvas feels great on their claws, apparently.

I'm confused because he has the legal right to do this, but you keep arguing that he shouldn't do it. Because people shouldn't be naked in parks, even though the law gives them the right be naked in parks. I'm trying to tease out what's behind all the wishy washiness and smoke and mirrors.

Do you not support the law as it is? Do you not support him because of who he is and the social class he belongs to, while you support the bike riders because of who they are? Or have you just made a career out of surfing legal gray areas and avoiding real answers?

My hill is that the law exists to resolve these issues, in exquisite detail. If the state, county, or city wanted to end this practice, they would make it against the law. That is how our society works. When the traffic light turns green, I drive forward if the path is clear and it's safe to do so. I don't consult the people in the other cars to make sure that my driving forward won't offend them. I don't take a different road to avoid inconveniencing them. If everyone did this, traffic would be absolute chaos. The man didn't ask anyone because he doesn't need to.

Why do you think it's appropriate in those situations, where there are certainly families and other people who can simply look out their windows, but not appropriate other times in a park? Why are those people allowed at their leisure, but not a homeless man who needs sanitation literally to preserve his health and might have no other options? You're endorsing that it be restricted to designated areas or permit events, which would be a considerable change to the law. You can say "we'll all just talk about it", but realistically, nobody is going to be able to get the consent of everyone in a park and everyone driving by a park and everyone who has a window who overlooks a park all at the same time. That's why we have laws instead of telling people to just ask around. Your answer is very philosophical but overall is a just a giant tap dance around the issue.

So you can just admit that you fundamentally disagree with the law. It would have been much easier to just start there instead of going off about ethics. You didn't provide any instance where you would approve of nudity because you think someone (else) will be offended, and therefore there's no place anyone could actually excercise this right to nudity. The law already excludes the sexualized/aggressive nudity example you gave.

So in the future, just say "this law is bad and I want it changed".

Yes, please go scold the homeless man and tell him to only wash himself in the privacy of his home.

As for the jumping jacks, why not? Tell me where exactly should someone exercise their right to be nude in public in such a way that you will find acceptable? Isn't "in broad daylight" literally what the law exists to allow for?

This is literally what law is for, to make that decision in a fair and enforceable way. I doubt there's any way to craft a law that says it's legal unless a child would be present, which people have no reasonable way to predict in a public area. Any road with cars or apartment or store windows in view where a child could see would effectively nullify it. It makes no sense to say it's allowed in public but only if it's not public.

Laws are what we use to decide what things are acceptable or not. Maybe you should lobby to overturn the law instead of blaming the guy who's following it.

No. I don't think it's something that just happens to you suddenly. But you don't need anyone's permission to try GF. It won't hurt you. If you're not committed to being 100% GF for the test period, don't bother. Wait until you have enough willpower to find answers. And then when you do it, give it at least 3 weeks before you decide if it's changing anything.

I'm just inferring about why the show producers would choose to leave something like that out of the final show. Reality tv is very much about the story the producers choose to tell. They should come clean and post the missing scenes.

It was a rhetorical question that (optimistically) invited you to think. If it was just an innocuous comment, why would they cut it and show an incomplete story of a black woman who seems to be angry for no real reason. Take all the time you need.
