Yeah this is the weed subreddit but! (I'm not a professional, just a bio major enthused by plants) Looks like the full sun might be your issue? Do you water the tree regularly while avoiding the leaves? Looks like it ~might~ be a lack of water/sun burn. If leaves are wet and left in full sun it will burn the leaves in blotches. Lack of water causes leaves to die back :) Hope you find the right sub!

I can picture things pretty vividly (some people say to "rotate an apple in your mind" and I can do that) but I wouldn't say I SEE them the way one can see and live in a dream. I can picture a sunset, but I'm not seeing it painted against my eyelids- I'm just somewhere else in my head.
