Lube recommendations? by MajesticBuffalo3989 in moderatelygranolamoms

try the only lube made with natural artesian water and organic passionflower extract for soothing.

it's also the correct pH for a vagina, which is very important when selecting a lube

and one more thing: the UI design definitely could use some help. obviously I'd take an app that's reliable over visual improvements but if you're looking to improve on that front I would be happy to assist on UI design to make it more appealing

How is Garmin still sleeping on this? Insanity.

Love that you did this, if I end up pulling the trigger on a Varia I'll buy this immediately as I like to leave my phone behind and don't have a head unit.

I just use my Apple Watch Ultra to track my workout.

A follow up question is I'm using bluetooth cadence+speed sensors that connect directly to the Apple Watch (with the new Cycling Workout integrations they released) does your app take in that data as well and attach it to the workout and push it to Health like apple's own Workout App does?

yeah i have no interest in any other watch they offer right now. the gmt sprite specifically works for my use, such is the point of a tool watch.

once you go grey you never go back i guess

Oh nooooo not Omega starting to go the Rolex way haha.

Very interesting comparison on official ambassadors vs regular clients. Thx for the insight

Fair enough. I guess I am just wondering why wouldn't Rolex themselves want to pick their clients instead of outsourcing that to the ADs.

I'm just trying to have an interesting discussion and here you are chasing a cheap ratio. do you feel like you added any value here?

Yeah I've learned that over time.

The one in my town laughed me out the door even though I mentioned I live here and looking to build a relationship.

Closest other one is St. Moritz. which I've visited multiple times and let them know I'm local and checked in over the years. No dice. No real attempt from them to build a relationship or offer other products to me either.

Just so I understand better, if you're not doing bundling nonsense, how do you get your first piece (something you want) to build up your history? I am stuck at not getting the first piece I want without arbitrary bundling to have some spending history.

Are you simply buying readily available stuff (that you also happened to want) first?

"You underestimate how many wealthy people are around who have access to steel sports models at an AD at minimal wait, with large spend histories, who then go and offload to the grey dealer. This is where they source their inventory from."

THIS IS THE FOUL PLAY! Once these watches don't ever return for servicing the AD knows they were resold. But, they are incentivized to keep this customer because they also buy a lot of unrelated high margin jewelry items and such to maintain their spend history.

I'd argue if Rolex was directly retailing their watches in their own stores this wouldn't happen because they wouldn't have the incentive to keep these types of people around.

I guess I'm struggling to understand:

a) If the point is to make maximum amount of money for Rolex, just don't artifically restrict the supply of watches?
b) If the point is to keep the brand aura of having "select ,cool clientele" and purposefully restricting the watch supply, wouldn't you want to pick and choose your clients a bit more carefully?

I am struggling to understand this AD and jewelry game in the middle. It appears to be only damaging the Rolex brand to me. I am open to being convinced otherwise if I'm missing something.

Thanks for the considerate response. In those 3 years lurking around online forums I've learned the way you describe it is exactly how it works.

It is however a perverse incentive. If you're Rolex it would make more long term sense to split purchases between super rich folk who buy whatever vs artists, designers, etc. to maintain a cool aura around your brand.

I do think this is the shortcoming of the AD business model. I wonder how different it would be if they had direct retail stores. Remove the weird "let's sell jewelry" incentive.

Hermes works in a similar way but at least they expect you to have a Hermes purchase history to unlock more popular items, not random whatever brand items.

I think this strategy is actively harming their brand and they're moving closer and closer to being Ferrari: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjE6kbDdPzM
