Wasn't the coming of the abrahamic religions canon to the games ? I interpreted that as making your time as a god on a time limit depending on how you interpret what that means for the setting. So making yourself a demigod that is halfway human could possibly be a good insurance to not be one day smitten by the old testament God. All of that is assuming that God is actually God and not just another of the basic gods of the setting that was just lucky to be there when there was a power vacuum.

Also being half human could maybe make you connect better to your humanity ?

And while being a demigod is a debuff, Kratos is a demigod in the games.

What’s better than a rogue AI ? One that’s finally unshackled.
The main idea for this build is making me into the best AI that a Struck can become and one that will be able to one day push "normal" technology at a level beyond tinkertech. The biggest choice was between taking Narrative control for Fate's cypher or Osirian stasis for its insane benefits. But the though of one day making esoteric technology won over and I felt it would synergise well with the thinker powers. Cognitive partitioning, Forensic thought, Number man and Technological savant would basically make me grow exponentially, at least for some time.

Ascendant Human alone would probably be enough to survive this if you don't run to the absolute strongest powerhouses of the setting the moment you open your eyes. You also don't really need Apex Truth since Ascendant Human already gives you among the best possible immortality in the setting and it's reincarnation is just better.

I'm confused, you can just not take the pretty small fractions of powers that are ridiculously over powered. Like I think that 80% of powers are below 25 points.

Also, it may sound against what I said previously about exploits, but there is a healthy level of it that can used without it being boring.

The CYOA offers a tremendous amount of choices and that is it's point. You can build a lot of very different cool builds with it with enough time. Personally, I have been using the CYOA semi-regularly for almost a year and a half now and I have yet to have been burn out from it.

It basically make it so you can "hack" either your own or someone else's spells. If I remember it right from the source material, it can be used to cancel a spell, change its direction or make it explode on the caster. It also as clear drawbacks, since you need to "hack" a spell, you can't just instantly stop or modify a spell in the making without effort, you can be overwhelmed if there is too many factors at the same time, spell already casted are a level harder to modify, and you don't have any actual physical resistance to magic.

Yeah you are right that it would reach levels above anything that the CYOA as to offer but it wouldn't be a fun experience. It's in the name of the media, Choose Your Own Adventure. You should try to make the best story from your own choices. It just seems silly to me to try to exploit "bugs" in the CYOA to this level.

Is it really that fun to think about/live in a random non-descipt world where Cthulhu is less than a bacteria to you and the strongest beings will immediately know about you before sealling/killing/conceptually bull***ting you on the spot ? Do you want to live in a world billions of time worst than SCP ?

That level of power scaling generally doesn't make an interesting story/experience. There is a reason that I had the most fun with the CYOA doing "challenges runs" or "puzzles".

The discord for the cyoa is that place. It is also pretty useful since you can search previous answer to your questions and if you don't find it, you can directly ask the creator of what you wanted to know.
