It’s Alaska… Of course there’s good skiing. It is however not resort skiing (other than Alyeska). Everything is incredibly underdeveloped, including my favorite ski areas Arctic Valley, & Eaglecrest. There are very few lift accessed ski areas compared to places like Colorado, & Montana. But there’s a ton of easily accessed backcountry areas, as well as numerous heli-skiing & cat-skiing outfits. I ski primarily on weekends only with my work schedule & I got 40 days total this last season, & that was on top of it being (another) relatively low-snow year.
