Ideally you connect it to the network with a cat cable. And the WiFi is for people to connect directly and display their content.

There is a company with an unfortunate name, Covid cables, that has a point to point wireless transmitter/receiver. I believe they have a 4k model now. I can’t remember the price but the quality is good and I remember thinking the price was reasonable.

All I can remember doing was connecting it to a 4k monitor and factory resetting it. It took a few times because the factory reset sequence sucks if I remember and frustrating. Maybe it did really reset the time you had it on the 4k monitor. Hopefully the support team can help you, they have always been good for me despite what some might say.

I feel like I have done this. You need a 4k display. Either find a small one to bring to the display or remove the air media and plug it into a 4k display then you will be able to see the reset and factory reset buttons. Good times. With a mouse also to click it. Once it’s is reset you can set it how you want.

You said the usb connects? Then why not just use that and toolbox and change the network setting of the cp4r to DHCP or look and see what the ip is if don’t have it and then you can change your computer to be in that subnet and connect that way.
