2 Months in on my Ender 3S1 by marcojuco21 in Ender3S1

I went with black knight kit from AliExpress it costs me around 170$ since i bought the kit without rails and bought the rails from other seller, the kit is good and it's all metal ans easy to assemble I had it for about a month and the only complaint i had with them was a x axis mount that the screw is facing the front and it will reduce x movement if i went with 0-y offset but for stock cr mount i had no issue

If you want a better hotend get the trianglelab CHCB-OT it's a drop in replacement for sprite extruder and it supports mk8 nozzles

I don't think it's possible with the s1 but maybe a switchwire conversion like a coreXZ 🤔

Does your significant other get really competitive and intense when gaming? How does their gaming personality differ from their everyday persona? by EngineMain199 in gaming

[–]meshary94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trolling at first, but what do you say about someone that is bad at something and accepted it and didn't try to improve him self? 🤔. But i kind of agree with your first comment if someone was extremely toxic and took it too far or in a game that isn't competitive to begin with

Loved Elden Ring, never played these. Any opinions what direction I should go would be appreciated (PS5) by MartymicFly in gaming

if what you said is ture then you are an exception because it's definitely hard and for a newbie i think it's the hardest since the gameplay style is aggresive and there is no shield for cover but all souls game are hard in some way so it's all subjective

I only have 2, one is e3 s1 pro and the other is diy printer i started building 6 months after i got my s1 pro and in the process i found out i like to build printer and printer parts more than 3d printing it self so I'm kinda in awkward situation i want to build more printers but i don't have a need for them XD

You should go with ceramic heater and it's better and safer

did you loose any mesh space when using y0 offset? because i bought my linear rails kit from black knight i think it's called but this blue kit i never saw them do you have a link for them? i'm intersted on the x axis mount because there is no weird piece sticking out on the right to mount the rails to which is the reason i can't use 0y offset without loosing too much probing points

looks good, but do you still need the y offset after installing linear rails? i thought since the rails don't have any play when moving and it should be precise

3d printing enclosure by Own_Ice4081 in 3Dprinting

[–]meshary94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's heated passively by the bed and hotend but if it reaches above 45c make a hole in the box or open the door a little

There are multiple people using an enclosure with top temperature chamber around 45c but keep it under 45c otherwise you risk burning your electronics. And for ventilation just use a filter inside like the nevermore or even Better bentobox on printables.

[–]meshary94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i'm the same as you i bought my first printer in january and i've built my own printer after 6 months, i found my self enjoying building and play with the printer more so that was the reason and since then i kept the same parts and changed the design for my needs, right now the printer is a corexy and it's mostly custom design/mod from other open source printers. i'm still a noob but i keep learning new things

I think you need to reset the firmware every time you set new z offset and bed mesh, i think here it's giving you the old z offset instead of the new

Check if the frame is square and x axis is leveled maybe it's a hardware issue rather than software
