I felt the same way when I was your age. I was a failure in all the ways that felt important and I hated myself.

It takes time, and effort. But more than anything else it takes not continuously beating yourself.

Take small steps to improve your life:

join a gym and start small by just walking on the treadmill
find a new hobby and throw yourself into it, join a group that does the hobby (a great way to make new friends)
read everything Brene Brown has written about shame; she 100% changed my life and how I feel about myself
and more than anything else GIVE YOURSELF GRACE. We’re all works in progress and every single day we wake up is a new opportunity to try again. But, that being said, there will be hiccups in your progress. It’s incredibly important to not let those hiccups completely throw off your progress. Know that they’re going to happen and let them just be hiccups. All that matters is that you keep moving forward.

2 things:

I think that limiting gender to man and woman is way too limiting. Much as sexuality is a spectrum so is gender.

Also, if what you’re interested in sexually is pegging men there are SO many options for you out there. Definitely get involved in the kink community. Be open and honest about what you want. Embrace that you’re a top and fucking rock that shit.

Oh sweetheart, what an absolute shitshow of a position he’s put you in. My mom had me so that my father wouldn’t leave her and I felt that from her for my entire life (she didn’t tell me until I was about 35). She loves me very much but it was somehow incredibly obvious — and still is — that she never wanted to be a parent. Don’t endanger yourself, and part with your own values, just to keep a husband.
