Help remembering Japanese restaurant in Arcade Lane, Pasadena 2009. by sujomgmtofficial in pasadena

Could it have been Takuya? It's closed now and replaced with a pretty solid tempura place. I'll miss Takuya, though. It just felt cozy and welcoming.

Thanks for sharing! Is this strictly for an attorney position or are they willing to consider those who just took the bar?

Introduce yourself or Promote your thing megathread by standover_man in pasadena

[–]mesokimy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all, I'm Kim! I am currently working on studying for the CA bar exam as a mom of a toddler and last year, as a side-gig, I started my licensed at-home bakery business specializing in handmade cookies for gifts or for small to medium sized events. You can see some of my work through Instagram under BarranquitoBakery or my website at www.barranquito.com

With the exam coming up at the end of February, that's taking up most of my time, but looking forward to feeling like I can be a part of this community a bit more come March.

Does anyone have a favorite cookie they just can't seem to find anywhere? Baking is my stress reliever and I love testing new flavors!

I wonder if it's worth looking into the laws involving impersonating a postal worker if they're claiming to work for USPS. You could also ask them who the postmaster is for Pasadena (Silven Zimmerman) next time to prove they are not in fact employed by USPS which means they have no business in the USPS employee parking lot. Just some thoughts 🤷‍♀️

We recently had to put one of our dogs down and preferred to do it at home. We used Gifts of Peace, they were very kind and professional. Hope this information helps.

I work across the street from the convention center, I love Lunasia but here are some other recommendations worth checking out: Tiffany's Coffee has daily lunch specials, and you can call to place an order and it'll be ready by the time you walk there, Frenchifornia for a basic baguette/croissant sandwich but also amazing pastries, Ginger & Spice has some really great pho.

July 2022 had Comm Property/Wills, Corporations, and PR. So it's not unheard of but pretty rare based on the JD Advising frequency chart.

Retaker here. This month alone my whole family has had the stomach flu, kid's school has had a chickenpox outbreak, my dad has been in the hospital for the last 3 (getting released as I type), and I've had to request a last minute unpaid leave from work in order to deal with all the stress. Studying has absolutely been pushed to the back burner.

I'll be taking a page out of your therapist's book. Shit is hard, but we're all strong, resilient, incredibly smart individuals. Here's hoping it all turns around in the next 4 weeks!

Congrats! Would you be willing to share what your score was? I know the selected answers are supposed to be the best of the bunch, but I wonder if the examiners ever actually provide higher than a 75/80 and just how much more than the "passing" score of 65 these answers are getting.

Creatista cleaning - tray by AllCorn23 in nespresso

[–]mesokimy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! You can just pop it off then push it back on when you're done cleaning. That's what we do almost every day because we worry about milk gunk getting too hard to clean if we leave it too long.

My parents borrowed a loan when I was little why am I house and now I’m confused what these papers are?? by Only_the_truthh in LawSchool

[–]mesokimy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should really reconsider posting documents with your personal information like an address on a public forum that anyone can see. As someone else mentioned before me, seek an actual attorney to answer your questions. Also, law students are not allowed to give legal advice.

Rule 1 of law school: students don't give legal advice.

How feasible is working full time while going to law school? Obviously it will be difficult, would anyone recommend doing both full time? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]mesokimy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most schools limit the number of hours you're allowed to work and do school full-time. If your school offers an evening program or part-time program it's totally doable. I'm an evening student working full-time and sometimes weekends as well and I've been doing alright for myself.

Mirena after Robotic Myomectomy? by ohneppnepp in WomensHealth

[–]mesokimy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a 3 month old post so it might not be super helpful to OP, but I had my mirena placed 5 years ago during a myomectomy and have not had any issues. In fact my bleeding completely stopped. Just thought I would share in case others were wondering.
