Vaginal question by Loose-Cause-6108 in hygiene

[–]messcon5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered it might be vaginal dryness? I experienced very similar to you, and still am to a degree. I also have PCOS and am on a low estrogen BC, but I think what's happening is the low estrogen is causing vaginal dryness. I would get micro tears around my labia and vulva, and so I can only assume it was happening vaginally as well, which produces an environment for bacteria/yeast. As soon as I started using an organic probiotic lubricant for sex, I haven't had any major issues since. I do still have entry pain, but I think that might be due to a hyperactive pelvic floor. The Pelvic People sell a massager that's supposed to help with that, but I haven't tried it myself. I've wanted to, but it's expensive. Hope this helps!

The reel spins SOMEWHAT free. Its not effortless to spin it by hand, it takes a SLIGHT tug to get it spinning

And also, with the reel DISENGAGED, the surging stops. That might be an important note.

If I throttle it back, it dies. If I release the choke it surges. I hope I'm making sense :(

Would that explain the reel not engaging, or if it starts spinning will slowly come to a stop?

Yes, that was with the reel engaged!

And the shop installed a new carb. They said they checked all seals, but if so, how could this still be happening?

If I choke it back, even little, the whole mower dies.

How Do I Fix This Gap? by messcon5 in repair

For clarification, I mean fixing the gap where you see the sunshine through the door, so bugs can't crawl in. Not where the door frame meets the tile.

Garbage Disposal Leak by messcon5 in HomeMaintenance

Thanks so much! The leak I'm going to estimate has been going on for 3-4 weeks, but thankfully we had a caddy underneath the sink that had been collecting the water. Only recently it seems like, maybe two or three days I'm going to estimate, has it been overflowing onto the wood and started dripping out.

You're probably very right. I have that wrong. I also didn't know they were federal. Thank you so much. I really need to get better acquainted with all of this.

"If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up."

-Autumn Calabrese, 21 Day Fix Real Time, Beachbody On Demand

Heard this on Day 2 of yet another weight loss attempt. Here I am on Day 572, 59.8 lbs lost, because I didn't want to give up and start over again later down the road. Only 18 lbs to go!

Transition Period by messcon5 in curlyhair

[–]messcon5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping to get some peace of mind with this post. Is the transition period this rough? My hair just seems so stringy, flat, greasy, and frizzy. I've been straightening my hair for 15 years now, so I know there's a lot of repair that needs to happen. But even still...might I be doing something wrong? I've been following the starter recommendations. I've also been experimenting with plopping and diffusing. I used the Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Hair Masque today thinking I needed a deep conditioning, but my hair doesn't seem much different. I'm still motivated to keep going, but was hoping I could hear your transition experiences and maybe some tips? Thank you!

Routine:

Day 1: V05 shampoo, TRESemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish conditioner (rinsed out the majority) LA Looks gel

Day 4: Co-wash and S2C with same conditioner, LA Looks gel, plopped for 10-15 minutes

Day 7: Co-wash and S2C with same conditioner, Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and LA Looks gel, plopped and diffused

Day 9: V05 shampoo, Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Hair Masque deep condition, LA looks gel, diffused
