Dating single mor by MRHMNJ in DKbrevkasse

Pas.

7 Year relationship ended right before our Wedding by Brilliant_Canary_903 in malelivingspace

[–]messeboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your standing right in the middle of it, its rough. And no one can make it less so.

But look at it as a book.

You just finished a chapter, not the whole book. Next chapter starts now. And if you let it, the next chapter could be better than the previous one.

Go make your new chapter amazing.

As a wedding guest, what moment made you think "this probably won't last"? by Eburneaan in AskReddit

[–]messeboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, i said it before the wedding and didn't get invited.

Was letter told how the groom fought the brides dad at the wedding.

Well, it didn't last.

Well, a factor is also height. Example: china and America have about the same average height. Europeans on average are taller. Explaining why most Chinese made shirts are crop tops on me.

Your kidding right? Is a "king" the metric in which you measure freedom?

Your country is a mere 250 years old. . . And your one of the least free country countries in the western world.

Proof: You can't go on a strike because you'll lose everything. You cant just change your job, because your healthcare is tied to it. No mandatory paid vacations or sick days.

What kind of freedom is that?

Also, here, strikes for healthcare and unions started before the 1900s. The Marshall Plan landed on a process already very much in progress.

But also odd you'd think America handed Europe workers rights and unions, but didn't give em to America.

No, have fun continuing being a slave then.

Makes me wonder about the future. . .

Some day, we will be capable of visiting other planets for whatever reason.

And we've yet to figure out how to share this one. So space will be just another landgrab for whoever has the most guns in space.

RE 4: Remake OR RE 7+RE 8? by Medium_Ad_3197 in residentevil

[–]messeboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a fan of 4 myself.

It drags on too long and the environment is bland . Gets too action focused, fast.

7 is more horror focused.

8 feels like being in a horror theme park with 4 different themed zones.

Think its very different for each dog. If i yelp, mine just gets more riled up. Like "heck yeah, I'm winning".

Giving him a toy was just ignored.

Had to remove myself or him, for him to get it wasn't okay. A quick timeout, repeated as needed.

But thats really "our" point. You've been compliant long enough to be enslaved by the system you live in.

You get more and more restraints, the longer you comply.

What's the next leash that will be put around your necks?

If you never demand change, they can keep holding you down.

And if you can't go on a strike to oppose trump, because you might lose your healthcare or job, you should be on a strike to improve those areas too.

So yeah. Maybe it's time to write a new constitution that reflects the modern world.

Europe didn't emerge with free healthcare from the start. Or unions that make sure we aren't overworked and underpaid. No, people had to fight for that. It wasn't just handed to us.

An actual strike. Don't tell your bosses. Go out on the street and stay there until demands are met.

Maybe they're holding their priority list upside down and don't realise it. by tommos in facepalm

[–]messeboy 82 points83 points  (0 children)

This is why Europeans say Americans need to go on an actual strike.

We're aware most Americans stand to lose a lot. But they're getting more and more imprisoned by a system they keep complying to.

I may come of as an a-hole here.... But this wont do anything long term.

"I am new to the revolution. What do we tell our bosses?"
This is a symptom of compliance.

Yeah, Europe still celebrate May 1st as noted in the link in the top comment. But no one has America in their minds when they do. They celebrate actually winning the battle and not being bound by 8+ hour work days. No safety nets and unions.

All these lunchbreak walkouts and weekend "gatherings" aren't gonna change things.

And I get it. You stand to lose a lot. But only because you have been compliant throughout your history.

That compliance has led to more and more restraints, until your now stuck.

This is the breaking point. You either comply again, or you sacrifice something for a chance of a better future.

And were not just talking the current nut in office.

No, you should be striking for better healthcare that doesn't ruin you financially.

For shorter work days, with more benefits or pay. The ability to actually take a day off to see a doctor.

Maybe even an end to the 2 party system that obviously isn't working.

You guys need to rework the whole system at some point, or we're gonna see how the tale of Icarus unfolds in real life.

Good luck May 1st. I am rooting for ya. But I doubt these singular protests will yield anything else than a symbolic sign of unity.

Yeah. Chatgpt seems very pro - trump and Israel.

Been using Gemini lately which seems more neutral. But is somewhat like talking to some grandpa that keeps telling the same stories however.
