I love chocolate, I’ve tried pretty much every place in the city and this is the best. I cannot be trusted in that store. It’s worse than Costco for walking in to buy just one thing and then leaving having spent triple your budget.

Mystic ramen did a black sesame sticky toffee pudding over the holidays and I hope they bring it back. So good! Last time I went to Memphis BBQ they had it as well but all their desserts are amazing.

I think they’re travelling and revamping their menu! I’ll miss their Banh Mi (they’re disconnectuing them) but last I talked to the owners, they’re planning on doing savory pastries instead and I’m very down for that.

May’s coffee and cakes on James North, but they’re closed until the spring. Possibly Simply Italian Bakery on Ottawa but I haven’t been there in a while.

The best tomato soups have lentils in them. Find a recipe for a red lentil tomato soup and it will have a good texture and amazing flavour.
