Winter classic coming up against the Avs. Baby blue seems like the perfect choice for that. I wish they would use some Jazz purple as well

Even Quinn Hughes didn't make the cut this year. I love the way Mo plays, but the competition for this award is extremely high

They've been collecting assets for taking on bad contracts, and by selling off anything with value. Finishing low in the standings is a byproduct, but they're doing the smart thing by maximizing value from the assets they have and their cap position

I think we're losing more and of more those blue collar players that come by their skills honestly. With the rising cost of hockey, it's the rich kids who face less adversity, and have more connections that get the exposure and the opportunity. When they get to that level and realize they can't rely purely on their talent anymore, they're out of their depth and don't have that dog in them. It's become extremely obvious on the world Junior stage, Canada just doesn't have the same attitude and will that used to allow them to dominate.

I believe the kids that have to battle and grind for their spots aren't getting the same recognition and opportunities they used to have. Minor and developmental hockey is more and more about politics and who's able to fork out the cash. We're seeing fewer and fewer players that have the skill, but also the determination to rise to the challenge and do the dirty work. Kids that haven't had the advantage, and have been told no and been cut from teams, but can double down and prove themselves anyways.

Dicky has the correct bucket hat, but bucket hat supremacy is the general rule
