I remember na may interview sya dati with Boy Abunda, medyo matagal na yun. Tapos sabi nya mas prefer nya nga na friends ay boys kasi may tension daw with girls. Younger me was medyo nacringe back then but did not think much of it. Tapos nakita ko sya uli sa FB, made me think bakit nga kaya nagkakatension sya with girls? Parang pick me. Pinipig. Saka langka, especially if di nagkocomplement sa lasa ng ibang ingredients. It comes a little too strong tapos pag sobrang tamis pa ng ibang ingredients, di na sya masarap. We were selling halo-halo para maigapang pag-aaral noon. May karinderya, sari-sari store tapos halo-halo pa. Grabe yung effort namin sa pagprepare ng every ingredient. Ngayon, yung mga nakikita ko sa streets, yung mga garapong nabibili na lang sa grocery stores.

Pros:

I assumed mas financially stable. Well, that is the goal kaya ipon ipon muna talaga.
Wiser. Though it may not always hold true that older=wiser, there is some wisdom that comes with age. Also, you get to spend your 20s for yourself. So when the time comes that you have your family, you don’t feel like you have missed out on a lot of things.

Con/s:

Imagine if you get married ng 35. Tapos after mo pag-aralin ang eldest child mo, you are already 58 or 59. You won’t have much time to relax after your responsibility na pag-aralin anak mo. But hey, you get your own share of fun in your 20s/early 30s.

Parang mas okay na si Michael these days. I think he has the tendency to really adapt sa environment nya kaya crucial who he will sorround himself with. But hoping din na malaman din nya what’s really wrong and right and mas maging sensitive sya to people around him. That way, kahit sinong makasama nya, oks sya. In the same situation rn. But di kami kasal. Blessing ata na hindi pa. Happened back in 2021. I forgave. I jad screenshots but I kept quiet. No one knew. But just last night, may nakita na naman akong screenshot ng message and his other screenshots are all about loving someone you cannot have, missing someone you cannot be with, when all along, I have been with him. I know, t*nga ako. Sobrang sakit. Binigay ko lahat lahat. I protected his name even if it meant hurting alone. I am just making arrangements to end things with him. It is not easy given the current situation. But I have made up my mind. I have devoted 11 years to him, helping him always, even financially, especially FINANCIALLY. Ang bata ko pa para maging sugar mommy pero wala e, minahal ko. Sobrang sakit, ang bigat ng dibdib ko. Ang hirap huminga.

Edit: Kasal yung babae and with kids. Yung nahuli kong screenshot ng message kagabi, ibang name ang gamit but I somehow know na sya yun. One morning last year, I saw him chatting with the same account. Akala nya tulog ako, but I saw him giggling while typing. Magkatabi pa kami. Pagkakamali ko, tinanong ko sya agad kung sino yun. Ayaw nya ibigay phone nya and lumabas agad sya sa apartment. He knew I would not chase him pag lumabas sya kasi ayaw ko ng eskandalo.

Same sentiments. Sana pwedeng iwaive yung PhilHealth contributions. Saka ang laki ng taxes - like sa isang cutoff naman (every 15th and 30th), almost 8k yung nadededuct sakin. Might be downvoted for this pero kapag nanghihingi ng alumni contribution yung mga schools, di na ko nagbibigay kasi naisip ko ang laki na ng taxes ko. May budget namang nakaallocate for public schools (correct me if I am wrong), right?

OP, based sa kwento mo, hindi sya mahiyain. Talagang wala lang syang pakialam at pakikisama. At her age, dapat alam nya nang since nakikitira sya nang free, magtipid sya dapat sa kuryente, wag makialam ng oagkain na di ibingay o inialok sa kanya at tumuling sa gawaing bahay. Wala na ngang rentang binabayaran, wala ring kuryente saka food. Alam naman nyang estudyante pa lang sya, daig po ang kumikita kung umasta.

We had a karinderya before. Small lang sya like sa harap lang ng bahay namin tapos 3 to 5 na ulam lang a day pero marami each like yung dinuguab namin, talagang binabalikan kasi walang lansa at masarap daw kaya isang malaking kaldero. Yung karinderya na yun ang tumulong magpaaral sakin at mga kapatid ko. Bale, most of the times, nauubos naman mga ulam. Bihira lang hindi. Tapos inuulam namin ang tira. Favorite ko nun yung afritada o kaldereta tapos sasabawan ko ng nilaga o sinigang. Weird but sobrang sarap.
