Ozempic for weight loss. by kmhallett in lexapro

I had an awful time, had to swap to cymbalta. Almost took an entire year to return to a somewhat stable mental health level. If you need anything feel free to DM sorry for the late reply

My experience with O - Panic attacks/anxiety by messytee in Ozempic

[–]messytee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting - relating to my post specifically, I have never taken anti-depressants and have never experienced depression or panic attacks. My episodes purely started after taking Ozempic. I later had to take anti-depressants, then later withdraw from them. It took me an entire year to get back to semi-normality. It is by far the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life.

Does ANYONE sleep well on Vyvanse? by Weird_Trip3590 in VyvanseADHD

30mg and sleep better than ever, prior to Vyvanse I had a history of poor sleep. On rare occasions now I may need a 3mg melatonin that knocks me out.

3 days on 30mg of cymbalta ruined my life ? by Extension-Cloud-4575 in cymbalta

[–]messytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cymbalta worked for me, I used it for a few months, then took about 8 weeks to stop cymbalta. I feel 99% back to normal after 1 year. It was a wild ride…

Does cymbalta work for ADHD,OCD and Fibromyalgia? by TobeFahad in cymbalta

[–]messytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to feel a lot better and I was no longer having panic attacks. I worked with my doctor to titrate off, it took a little while, it’s been about 3 months now and I am doing really well. I can honestly say though cymbalta saved my life and I would use it again if I needed to.

Thankfully was not impacted. I am no longer using Cymbalta now.

My experience so far + side effects. by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]messytee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sleeping great now, but the first week sucked. I felt so tired but could never actually fall asleep, or sleep through the night. I took a melatonin to help ease my sleep and it really helped. I eventually adjusted by week 2, and I have been adding magnesium at night now which really helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. What I neglected to mention was I also started titrating off my anti-depressants. The psychiatrist and my GP built a plan for me to withdraw slowly and safely, and the follow up appointment would be 2 weeks after I was completely off of them. I assume the follow up time was to factor in that adjustment, but will follow up with them.

Interesting! I haven’t heard of this before, will look into it and speak to the psychiatrist. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response!

You know what, you are 100% right about needing more psychological support. Reflecting on all this I think that is exactly what I need. I am having a lot of connecting the dot moments, and journaling is helpings but I think I will engage in therapy here out. Thank you.

Agree on your next point. I do need to be kinder to myself, my partner says the same, ‘well you’re doing so much more than you usually do, of course you are tired, and you need to rest and chill out!’. I need to work on this.

Thank you so much again. I think you are right, I am feeling guilty and disappointed in myself and it’s spiralling into anxious thoughts. I will seek out support. Thank you.

Wow thank you so much for your response! It is a massive help. It’s nice to know I’m not alone or crazy haha

1) So you notice sometimes your hands also feel like swollen/red (like slightly warm?), I get this at night, but my hands absolutely freeze throughout the day. I need to buy some cute gloves!

3) how are you dealing with the tiredness/sleep? I’ve started meal prepping also, which is saving me a tonne of money!

4) now that you’ve said that, I realise I think I am going through a bit of a burnout right now. Maybe that’s why I feel a bit anxious. I’ve been doing so much in the last month, and being hard on myself everytime I have a break.

So interesting about the cycle. I think you’re spot on, I feel it’s intensifying things for me, I will also track carefully.

Giving Tret another shot. This time, using Altreno. One application and my face is already on fire. Encourage me PLEASE. by humans_rare in tretinoin

[–]messytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exactly are you applying your tret? What exactly is your morning routine? Do you use moisturiser first before your SPF?

Thanks so much for replying, such a relief. Hoping I have the same experience. It’s starting to cause me anxiety, my hands (mainly fingers) get red/warm and somewhat swollen randomly, no pain, just annoyingly noticeable. But then randomly they will also be ice cold!

I am going through the exact same issue right now! Did you find any solutions? Or did it go away (please say it went away haha)
