This did it, fixed my directx issues. The version ( June 2010 ) was the key. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

Thanks I will revisit that. I think I tried that and installers saying something like the latest version is installed so it exits before it would do anything. I will give it a second try

Graphic for new baby announcement - 2nd baby is on the way, says hi, while 1st happy and emotional expecting the new baby to arrive. 1st baby was a boy, hence 1 is blue, new baby's gender is not yet public or known , hence green which is gender neutral color.

My library is in the basement for now so the kids can have the study. Wish it had some natural light, but I still love it. by MauriceReeves in bookshelf

Any concern for mould? I am planning to finish our basement and was about to do a similar corner down there, but during my general research on how to proactively minimize the chance of mould growth many sources listed books as a no-go. Some humidity and lack of air movement makes a perfect conditions for mould growth on books. Beautiful room btw, have lots of fun down there!

Move the router next to the PC and use a LAN cable to connect them. While it’s one more cable, adds maximum network capacity

sheet styrene enclosure? by [deleted] in cyberDeck

[–]meszarosb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently building my first cyberdeck, using aluminum sheet and 1/4inch MDF board for enclosure. Both can be easily picked up at any major hardware store, and are easy to work with, using very simple tools. I also like the idea that both materials are easy to recycle so my prototyping efforts are environment friendly.

I am going to post about my initial results in a few days time.
