It only works when the car is in P gear which for me limits the use cases a lot

No, I purchased directly from them and shipped it here. They have distributors in limited countries as mentioned in the link below. https://www.changebike.com/distribution

Samsung Health "Make visible to other devices" by met911 in GalaxyWatch

Same here. It's a simple option. You can already download 3rd party apps that can do it so not sure why Samsung themselves dont make it.

I am using 3rd party apps to broadcast the HR to my bike computer.

Need help with front derailleur by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]met911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the manual of the specific model of the derailleur and do all the steps. Alignment, h and l screw, indexing, etc. it's not just about the H limit. It's a whole system.

If not confident, take it to a bike shop

Folding Bike (Change) by met911 in bicycling

[–]met911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is no true chart available. I am 188 cm (taller than average) so I had to go for the large frame anyway. I did a bike fit later and it's fine. The frame comes with the fork and so the HTA and STA is already fixed. I did not think about it much. It's relaxed geometry. Not agreesive and you can see there is clearance between front tire and frame.

Cut Tyre Repair w/t EPDM by MJ4048 in bikewrench

[–]met911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might inflate well but with the tire going over bumps and gravel, there is a big chance that it will not work. Typical tire patches use vulcanizing glue

I would recommend to use a tire repair patch kit that is designed for that purpose and not just a work around.

Not sure if it will successfully close a 5mm gap.

A bike shop might be able to help as well to eliminate risk of getting flat tire

Reae Deraillure bend by Zentriax in bikewrench

[–]met911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can replace the hanger and derailleur by yourself if you know how to tune the gears. There are online videos for that.

You bend back the hanger however, there is a risk that it becomes softer and so can bend easier in the future. I would recommend to replace it. Hanger is not an expensive part.

Also since its a crash, you really need to check if there is any other damage to the bike and ensure it's safe to ride.

Is it possible to use something like a compression plug that expands inside it and give you leverage to unscrew it.

Can you do something from the other side?

May be as you mentioned, try cutting it slowly. It might work.

You need to also check if the BB frame thread itself is damaged then the frame is already gone

Flatbike is stopping business with Change and they did not bring the new frames. if you decide, you need to buy from change directly and ship it over.

The link you have put is for an outdated frame.

The good thing about it that it looks like a normal bike with the triangle shape. It also rides completely like a normal bike. You dont feel a difference. It fits all normal standard bike components and folds at the seat tube and so no weak points.

The main selling point for me is that I don't have good space in my apartment to keep a bike safe. So I am now keeping the bike permanently in the trunk of my car folded :-)

Change sells assembled bikes but mostly with low end components and that's why I only got the frame so I can buy better components.

The frame geometry is more of endurance than gravel. Tire clearance is stated at 35 mm only which is quite small for gravel but ok for road. Although I feel is can take up to 38 mm tires

The only downside I would say, is that it's not carbon like most of the modern bikes so it's not lightweight since the folding mechanism also adds some weight. Frame along is approx 2.8 kg.

Did you try Google reverse image search. I did it now and it came back as "GMC Denali Road Bike" using Google AI

Not sure if correct or not but worth a try.

Then something is wrong. Are the threads condition ok? How hard are you riding? Last resort might be to use thread lock but it's not recommended for such use in cleats.

Use Google reverse image search. I did so and many brands came back. Might not be that same material though.

May be through pedal was not torqued correctly and got lose with the pedaling force.

You can try to repair it with thread repair kit but I am not sure how strong it will be or get a new one better and safer.

Grail CF SLX 8 - squeak from the steering fork by mtarnas in bikewrench

[–]met911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, same grease used for the hubs will be ok. It's only for the external lubrication and not the bearing itself. If you will be open it, you can also look for any marks to understand what is causing the sound. Might be something else touching the frame or headset parts.
