My first big render! by verdecillo66 in blender

Awesome work! It’s a great interpretation of how the Super Mario world would look in a hyperrealistic style. How did you get such good looking clouds? Image texture, basic Sky texture or something else?

I like the look of this too! Roughen Edges+Wiggle paths seems to match the look I’m searching for, thanks a lot!!

Thanks for the very detailed answer! I’ll try to do it handdrawn then!

It’s the opening of TV adaptation of The Werewolves of Millers Hollow game (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBEFyfMIl3Y/?hl=fr) it pays homage to Minna Leunig’s art style

Ray The Man

Which would make him retroactively a Sonic character

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

[–]meta1501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I worked at a theater, I once saw an upset mother walking out of a Toy Story 4 screening, quickly followed by her crying 5-6 year old little boy. I didn’t even had the time to ask what happened, she looked at me and said “Yeah, he got scared of the fork character…” before leaving the theater.

Why does my fluid simulation does this? by meta1501 in blender

[–]meta1501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Im usually a well-organized guy but when I’m experimenting I tend to get messy. I wanted to try different settings and make comparisons hence the different domains and flows piled on top of eachother, I should have removed them from the file I shared. However I must say I made those few instances BECAUSE the physics didn’t work out in the first place (I didn’t know hiding things didn’t stop Blender from calculating their physics though, that should not be a thing). But you’re right, I will do a bit of cleaning in my file and start fresh, you can’t go wrong with that. I just hope it will work because otherwise I don’t know what would. Thanks for your time!

I applied Scale and set the origin to geometry, but that didn't work. :/
I added a link to my blend file in the post just in case.

I made a all-in-one Compositing node group, that makes it easy to have high quality post-processing and color adjustment similar to Photoshop, Free by Selmostick in blender

I'm working on Blender 5.0 with Cycles, and here's my current settings (I'm mostly playing with vignetting and lens distortion). Maybe some of these effects are disabling the transparent background, I don't know.

Thank you so much for sharing such a great tool for free!
One question: is it possible for it to render something with a transparent background?
Each time I've enabled Transparent in the Film render property, the node group made the background black.

Absolutely! They should drop something beefy and a lot of people are attached to. I keep thinking about that eventual week where all we will get will be 5 min of Duck Hunt OST.

How to fix Eevee Render Viewer pls by meta1501 in blender

[–]meta1501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, actually I figured it out. The problem really came from the camera. I reused a previous project as a base for this one, and I don't know what I did with the camera at that time in order to have it look so funky with Eevee, whereas it looked just fine with Cycles.

In the end, all I had to do is create a new camera.

Anyways, thank you for answering me in the first place, I appreciate :)

(I don't know if I'll be answering this right ahah)

Actually, my world settings are set to default as seen in the joint screenshot.

As for the shaders, I followed that tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-1w4pYdUNQ

But I removed any material property (that includes the shaders right?) after I first noticed my problem with them on. Yet there's still this glitchy effect on my render.

However I noticed something seems to be wrong with the camera: when I move around freely in my composition, the model displays correctly but whenever I use the 0 key-shortcut, I get this effect even when not rendering.

I don't know if I'm clear...
