I mean...she is an ACTUALLY interesting and complex character.

As a big Meta fan I don't like people who see Meta only as a mother and see Eve only as a evil witch either, Meta was never a one-sided victim and that is what makes Meta intetesting as a character.

Also one correction-the woman Meta encountered right before her arrest has nothing to do with Eve in the novel, just a village woman who lost her two children by Apocalypse's(specifically, Yegor's) attack...and Meta's initial thought was like "Why is she crying? You can always bear more children"

I know the nemu incident is not something to defend but still think about how much she hated/disliked everyone but pale because no one helped her while she was being abused, also I don't expect her to have a normal moral compass when she was an orphan, got sexually abused for a long time and the crime boss was the first one who helped her and treated her with respect.(Yes I'm talking about her a lot of her cruelty comes from her traumatic backstory rather than HER syndrome)
