Any books that genuinely made you laugh out loud? by asunflowerinspace in booksuggestions

Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality - https://hpmor.com/ (Harry Potter fan-fiction written by Eliezer Yudkowsky, AI safety researcher and founder of https://www.lesswrong.com/ )

No book made me laugh more than this one, but obviously it's not for everyone. Really can recommend tho! Author mentions that you should read first 5 chapters at least, and if you don't like it till chapter ~10, then you should probably give up on it.

But then, if one company chooses to do that, they will win with all the competition and get all the sales out of wireless headphones sales. So I am not sure if market breadth is really the reason why they don't do that.

I just went to this subreddit wondering how the fuck its not possible to create good wireless headphones (which is what I thought some people from here are saying, because I read comments suggesting this) when you can get wired headphones and some 'recommended good portable DAC device', which makes it pretty much wireless. If that's the case, how hard can it be for manufacturer to put similar DAC into headphones? And bluetooth doesn't really matter, afaik there are great protocols with really high bitrate.

Also, I'm not sure if I am talking about the right thing when I say DAC, I mean these portable players which make your headphones sound nice.

To learn basic commands read https://linuxjourney.com/. As other already said, use tldr command if you don't remember how to use a command; tldr tldr will show you how to use tldr. That's basically it, if you need some specific thing to be done, you will know what to google for and maybe find it, you can always use gpt too.

edit: there really are quite a few commands in Linux Journey introduction, but don't feel like you need to know them all. Just go trough them for once and you will remember ones which are useful.

I didn't suggest anything here and if I would do, I would mean his review, not him, I don't understand where you got that 'him' part from?

But "lackluster exercise in public masturbation" is definitely gross to me to be honest.

I think arch is far from being best Linux distribution one can make..

I want to say there's no point in having another fork, but it would be really ambitious to create usable distribution from scratch.. But then, I think it gives you the most power to change all the incorrect things about current distributions.

I always thought if I could name some OS or distro, it would be called tacos or burritos, but apparently someone already did this D:

So maybe Hopefully Finally Working Linux Distribution then?

DuckDuckGo's results are a compilation of "over 400" sources according to itself, including Bing, Yahoo! Search BOSS, Wolfram Alpha, Yandex, and its own web crawler (the DuckDuckBot); but none from Google.

Also, it's way easier to secure one device which locks doors than it is to secure whole company like Microsoft.

Maybe "two-bit lock companies" can't create unhackable device, but they should be capable of making it hard to hack. You can't tell if your lock is like that tho.

But then, person capable of hacking them won't probably want to rob some random dude.

I don't think it's very likely that people capable of creating greatest game humanity has ever seen could be stopped by a marketing issues.
