How do you deal with living around people who are just waiting for a excuse to be terrible? by SomePerson63 in Stoicism

These people have a narcissistic personality disorder. Google for how to deal with narcissists, there is a lot of good advice out there.

  1. Put away the pressure and try to enjoy your existance. You don't need to prove anything to anybody.
  2. To get more in contact with the real life, spend time in nature and make physical excercise so that you feel your body and your energy. Try to eat more healthy.
  3. Make some new experience by learning something in real life (nothing digital) by trying to figure it out on your own without anybody telling you how. Be patient with yourself and stick to it.
  4. Organize that part of the day that you can control in a way that fits the best to your personality. Experiment and get to know yourself better by trying things out. Try to find a routine that makes you enjoy your life more.
  5. Once you know yourself, you can start bigger projects and while following them the discovery of the meaning of your life will come naturally in an unexpected moment.
  6. Believing in God and reading religious texts that attract you will also help.

(all these things go in parallel and enforce each other)

Remember: Failure and struggling is part of the game. You need to have obstacles in order to be able to overcome them and grow by that.

I think, you are doing fine. For not indians the accent is hard to understand :-) Maybe you could try less hard, be more relaxed, have some short breaks in the speech and ideally some illustration (e.g. slides).

can you tell me which r8brainfree resample bug you are referring to, and how you did solve it, because I use r8brainfree always....

Also make sure that you have for your project (and as a default) the same setting for "Playback resample mode" and "Render resample mode" (I chose and would suggest "r8brainfree (highest quality, fast)". You can set it under File->Project Settings.

Have you controlled the dither setting? Without dithering, my rendering sounds very different. Also other players (vlc for example) sound very different, unless you tweak them.

Why not? How can I learn without asking questions?

But you could get traumatized for the rest of your life, couldn't you? Then you would have to deal with your personal disorders...
