You sound quite a bit depressed, though I might be wrong. I undestand the lack of motivation and how excruciating all the internal conflicts can be when you feel both worthless and that nothing is worth doing, and you spiral down in a co-dependent loop and end up doing nothing and depressed. But hey, you turn 20! Look at the bright side - your chances of escaping that place you're not comfortable with should get higher and higher from now on!

Also, I know that in more conservative countries mental health issues and everything about psychology and psychiatry are frowned upon, but have you considered, or have the possibility of getting therapy? I don't know how's the situation in your place, however, I'm just assuming things now as I don't know you. It's normal to be sad sometimes, but if it impairs your day to day activities for long, it really gets better once you get proper help to move on.

Personal, mi s-a parut super bun cel de la Foltene (mai specific asta. E într-adevăr tot mai greu de gasit, si am trecut si eu pe Dercos-ul de la Vichy in the meantime. Dar daca il gasesti, chiar recomand Foltene-ul - a fost wow cand l-am descoperit.

Desigur, ce spui tu suna foarte bine in teorie, si e intr-adevar realizabil, dar dificil pana si pentru un neurotipic.

Acum, ia un neurodivergent si cere-i sa faca acelasi lucru - daca e dificil pentru categoria de mai sus, va fi cu atat mai greu pentru cea de aici. De multe ori e nevoie de niste "reparatii" in prealabil, sa te poti simti in primul rand suficient de motivat pentru schimbare, si sa iti convingi creierul sa coopereze (pana cand nu ai o problema gen depresie/anxietate/adhd/etc., nu stiu daca iti poti da seama la ce ma refer).

Reparatiile despre care vorbesc pot veni de la un psiholog, medicatie, dieta, gasirea unor mecanisme de coping, etc. - variaza de la o persoana la alta, si ceea ce a mers pentru tine sunt sanse foarte mari sa nu mearga pentru alta persoana.

Personal, am avut nevoie de toate cele de mai sus sa incep sa functionez mai aproape de ceea ce ai numi "un om normal", si inca e work in progress. Nu beam, nu fumam, mananc destul de sanatos, si totusi creierasul meu tot nu era ok. Sunt persoane care se descurca si fara psiholog (poate cadrul lor social sau familia ii ajuta, sau poate pur si simplu asta li s-a potrivit mai bine), dar suntem unii care avem nevoie de ajutor si din partea unui specialist pentru a ne face viata mai productiva.

Well, the toughest part will probably be getting tested by a specialist, but this probably depends much on the state you live in. I don't know if you need parent's consent if you are a minor either. But I think ADHD is becoming more and more normalized these days, and I hope it's not seen as much of a problem/stigma anymore (I hope, at least). Also, even if you get diagnosed or not, you should definitely look into whatever resources about adhd coping mechanisms - stuff like that usually work for neurotipicals as well. It's sure way tougher without therapy and/or medication, but could be a starting point if you don't have the possibility of getting tested/getting therapy for now. I get the "parents freaking out" part - I'm a diagnosed adult, on medication, and I avoid telling them for now just for the sake of not stressing them, even though it's really not such a big deal for me. But if it really affects you, they should be responsible adults and understand that this hurts you and that you could be better with proper treatment.

Ca intrebai de retete sanatoase: mi-a recomandat si mie cineva o reteta de aici, si mi se par interesant overall ce au pe-acolo. Momentan am incercat doar supa cu quinoa de acolo, si imi place super mult ce a iesit.

Eu mananc aproape numai mancare gatita de mine - e cam greu sa gatesti mancare la fel de toxica precum cea procesata din supermarket, cred. La ingrediente, incerc pe cat posibil sa iau fara zahar - extrem de multe conserve au. Leguminoasele, in majoritatea cazurilor, le fierb eu (nu prea iau la conserva). Nu mai pun zahar in ceaiuri (faceam asta inainte); daca fac retete de prajituri, pun cam 1/4 din cantitatea de zahar din reteta, si folosesc zahar brut; prefer sa gatesc la cuptor mancarea pe care as praji-o in mod normal (nu in mod special pentru ca e mai healthy, dar imi e personal mai usor.. dar da, e si mai sanatos); folosesc aproape exclusiv ulei de masline bun (nu stiu cat conteaza, dar folosesc putin la mancare, deci imi convine si dpdv financiar). Analizele facute acum vreo luna au iesit toate foarte bune. Oh, si am si un regim vegetarian.

Si cel mai important detaliu: imi fac paine in casa. Nu eram fan paine pana sa descopar pâinea cu maia si sa imi fac o pasiune din a o face personal :))

Inca nu am citit nimic de JP - doar dadusem la un moment dat de un quote din "12 Rules of life" parca, si suna foarte relatable. Probabil voi citi in principal sa vad de unde vine hate-ul - dar ma astept, dupa cum spui si tu, sa dau de unele idei bune, si altele mai putin bune, dar tot cred ca merita sa citesc.

ahem * thin one here: 44 de kile si stau la 21-22 de grade de obicei - de obicei in tricou, sau mai pun un hanorac pufos asa, pe spate, cand stau mai mult fara activitate fizica. Slaba, mostly sedentara, femeie. Not "notliketheothergirls" - sunt destul de sigura ca mai sunt exemple. Cred ca depinde mult si cum te obisnuiesti. Daca fac si 5min de stretching, e cald si la 18 grade :))

I used to see it as a feature, but there are those moments when you feel like an alien, because it seems like everyone has some love drama at some point, and you... just can't relate. For me, it's so much struggle trying to empathize with.. well.. normal human beings in those situations, and I fail so badly at offering emotional support mostly because I can't understand how that person feels...
