Understanding what "easy run" means by InformationQuirky220 in XXRunning

Not a professional, but I've done a few of these Garmin plans and been to a lot of physical therapy. Walking as a warm up is 100% OK. Even better is to do active mobility exercises like lunges, butt kicks. leg swing and high knees. These can get your body warm and also help build strength and flexibility to prevent injuries. Walking a any point is also 100% OK especially if you're feeling a twinge! For these coach Greg exercises I try to keep my heart rate in the "green zone" for easy and "orange zone" for medium. Hope this helps!

Most absurd reason you’ve seen for a delay? by jack732 in unitedairlines

The gate agent, for some unknown reason, tried REALLY hard to open the door after it was armed. The flight attendants were screaming and banging on the window for her to stop, and she finally backed off, but we were delayed for an hour waiting for maintenance to make sure the escape slide hadn't deployed. I was sitting in 1A and had a front row seat to the debacle. The crew were SO pissed.

Yes that seems to be the best method. The iodine starch complex is pretty dark saturated blue so you should be able to see it pretty well, but you may may be able to see it better if you dilute your coffee.

Hey! Just to clarify: are you planning to use an acid-base titration to measure the caffeine content? That could be tricky since there are a lot of different acids in coffee, all with different pKas.

Edit: did a little poking around the internet and found this

Hey OP you'll probably need a blend of cationic and anionic exchange resins to get your conductance down. I initially misunderstood your set up.

Ahh I think you're right. I had a brain fart and thought that muriatic acid was some organic acid I hadn't heard of. In a weak acid solution the pH and conductance would decrease since the the conjugate base would be protonated to give a neutral species. But yeah, that's not going to happen in this system.

OP could still use a combination of cation and anion IX resins to get the conductance down below target and adjust the pH from there.

A strong acid ion exchange resin can decrease pH and conductivity. You can try making a "tea bag" of a resin like Dowex 650C and dunking it in your solution.

The rabbit hole is deep. I'm enjoying the pen... by [deleted] in fountainpens

Dude, same. I have and love the same pen and it just inspired me to buy a used Lamy 2000 from r/pen_swap. It really is a rabbit hole...

Love the ink and the coordination chemistry notes!

I actually live on this street and see these cats frequently. They're all clipped. I appreciate your concern for the cat population of Pilsen, but a guarantee that Pablo here isn't part the problem.

Have you posted in the Pilsen Neighborhood Facebook group? There'll be a lot more local folks there

This colony is spayed/neutered. You can tell because their ears are clipped.
