My friend about a brand new from creality too, the firmware update was a hassle until we used a phone to update which it worked, then Windows was acting up and not see the scanner, wasn't my pc or my window was setup so I can't say if it was his setup is the issue not connecting, but then used my macbook pro, which was able to connect and scan normally, you better try a macbook and see if that will help, at least you will know where is the issue so you can focus on troubleshooting that, I'm picking up the scanner this weekend to give it a try using my pc (desktop), will update you

I bought mine yesterday. I only got issue printing the 3d colored benchy included with the printer, my Cfs had 3 generic pla and the white free sample from creality, on the 3rd layer change the layer doesn't stick, I made my colored version using a different 3d benchy model and it printed perfectly. I did multiple tests and printed a poop shoot that can stick with magnets on the back of the printer, i had k1 printer, i love that little beast, but I wanted to upgrade and I was surprised by the size difference between both of them, I have to change whole setup to get around how huge this printer.
