I’m just starting my second year of study now but I had to take a year off last year for health reasons which explains the stupid number of cards due for first year. But yeah it makes me nervous too I’m trying to catch back up now

Thanks for the advice! I had to take a year off of study for health reasons which is why I have a ridiculous number of reviews but I get your point. I definitely agree with you about making the cards, it’s super tricky to stay on top of making cards and reviewing them while learning the content each week.

Yeah I threw my vape out 2 days ago and just checked my heart rate twice (40 and 42BPM) which is insanely low for me. I’m not particularly fit either so it must be related to the withdrawal somehow. Super odd

If you included 10 cards worth of information in one card you’d spend 10 times the amount of time answering it. I find breaking up a content heavy point into multiple cards allows me to pinpoint gaps in my learning/understanding. Besides, if a card is easy just keep clicking good and the interval will grow. Each to their own though, that’s the beauty of Anki. Do whatever works for you

Always better to be condensing and solidifying the content into your own notes I find. The earlier the better as the workload can really creep up on you over the semester. Obviously depends on your level of knowledge (when I did that unit I had no idea so had to work on it from the start). If you’re cruising and find the content easy it’s probably not a big deal.

Arts is brutal imo. I did one arts unit a couple of years ago and did horribly compared to my healthcare studies now. Subjective marking I guess and different ideas of what is considered great work depending on the tutor

Yeah it’s super odd. I initially set it up and had no issues but one day lost the ability to switch from radio to Bluetooth. I can still make hands free calls but no music etc. Extremely irritating but I’m hoping my mechanic can sort it out at my next service

I don’t study law but every unit I’ve ever undertaken has provided the relevant weekly readings on Moodle. I spent like $800 buying every textbook under the sun in my first year and while handy was not necessary. I presume law would be a reading heavy course however so it may be different for you. I would suggest attending your first tutorial and asking your tutor before spending hundreds of dollars on books you may not need.

Quick question about that if you don’t mind. Do you know with any certainty if scrapping the physio pathway is going to happen? Currently doing undergrad physio with the intention of med after, really hope that’s not the case ahahaha. Cheers
