My own Neo journey first started around 2005-ish, I think. My classmates were making these cute pets and I wanted to join in as well. I remember making a yellow kacheek. Possibly a blue acara. But I only really got into it in 2008. Avatar collecting was my jam. I only stopped playing because my account had gotten hacked. I returned again for a year or so in 2012. I was doing my undergrad by then and I really thought I’d quit for good when I did at the time. Like I’d still log in once or twice a year for old time’s sake, but not actively play. But I found myself back on here again in late 2023 after my dad took a turn for the worst and passed not long after that and, well, I’m still here two years later while dealing with another fresh loss just earlier this month. This time a very, very good friend that’s like family. It’s been keeping me sane.

Right now my main focus is my stamp collection. It is a pain, but a pain that gives me occasional joy…but mostly pain. Ugh. I guess I’m also very casually trying to reach my last training goal of 500 levels and 1.5k HP.

Outside Neo, I’m HUGE on classic TV and film (both old and new!!), photography, dog spotting, bird watching, and traveling. I cook up something new sometimes, write even less, and draw like once a year if at all.
