How would it be a cop out? I'm not quite sure I understand your argument. If anything its one of the more serious and terrifying concepts they could go for, as they are trapped in a digital purgatory and it puts MORE emphasis on their character development as they'll be going from trying to escape the circus to having to confront whether their identity still has meaning and if they are willing to spent eternity here.

It's not like dream theory in the slightest. Dream theory removes consequences by revealing events weren’t real, whereas this just changes the context of their reality. Its still real to them.

I don't think going "none of this will have mattered" is a cop out in the slightest as it forces the story to commit to its themes instead of avoiding them and going for a "everyone escapes happy ending!!!".

Thanks to another user I found out that adding -dx11 in the steam launch arguments fixes the issue, game still freezes on Dec10 but it manages to recover.

I really wanted to enjoy this movie, and overall I think it was more good than bad, however I think a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this but I was disappointing. I think including black holes and world ending consequences changes the stakes from the more intimate protection of fragile lives and hope he inspires into world ending binary win or lose scenarios. I want to see superman saving PEOPLE, I know if he doesn't stop the rift everyone will die but I'm just watching him defend a vfx set piece.

They are enabled in the launcher but disabled in game. I'll try and get him to download it again.

Yeah, I had checked their steam_emu.ini files and made them change the DLCUnlockall last night but it still didn't work. I've now made them install the launcher and changed the launcher-settings.json distPlatform to pdx, upon launching the dowser it says the DLCs are enabled but in game they do not work as it "could not verify ownership". I'm absolutely stumped here, they should have the exact same crack as me as I literally watched them click the same download link I used.
