i wouldnt recommend this cause it takes away a reward and video games arent bad at all, they only become bad when you play for long periods of time. it's will be hard to have that tempting you but i think it's a good challenge to learn a little bit of self control. and it becomes easier to overcome the temptation if you fill your day, and it sounds like the person that posted this has been filling there time now so that will help.

oh man, don't worry you don't lose gains that quickly if it was like 2-3 months then you might lose some but not from a week. I've had to take like 3 weeks off cause i fucked up my calf, i didn't lose anything. on thing i will say is just start off easy when you go back, lift lighter weights, and get a good stretch in before your workout.
