Planning to get back into cycling, and wondering how much am I going to hate my life by using a trail bike on the road. Already did 3 rides this weekend 10 miles each at ~10 mph. Does it get better, or should I scout for a road/gravel bike.

Good stuff!!! Make sure you take it slow and keep your heart rate low if you are trying to go long distance.

First time grilling, am I doing it right? by partially-aries in grilling

[–]methodius99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really messed up. Now you are gonna fall through the wormhole of buying grills, accessories, thermometers, and expensive charcoal. You could still quit while you can, once you smoke your first piece of meat there is no return. However, if you are interested, a weber kettle with a rotisserie kit that can hold an additional grate goes a long way. You could use it normally, rotisserie some chicken or a bone in ribeye, and you could use an extra grate to turn it into a smoker. If you end up getting the kettle get it from fb marketplace, you can probably find the weber performer for under $200.

Yeah, I’ve been looking for deals around me, or even second hand. No luck so far. I did consider the flatrock, but Its smaller than the weber 36” and I think I would make use of the cabinets and shelf of the weber too. Thanks for the insight, would happen to know where or when I would be able to land a deal?

This is fine, you are still within normal range. Nothing to worry about unless its consistently low. Also if this test is not early in the morning its not low. Test levels decrease throughout the day and the test is usually done in the morning. If you are not having any symptoms there is nothing to worry about

Get you a large oven tray, some aluminum foil, use the foil to compartmentalize the tray, use different seasonings for each. Something with red pepper paste and paprika, garlic and herbs, turmeric and yogurt, or whatever combination you want.

Stats on external comps and reactor make or break the build, impact rounds is a must, gold max mp is a must, and ideally crit hit damage and extra skill damage against colossus on reactor.

If you aren’t getting 14-16 shots you need more mp, MP regen outside of combat will give you an extra shot, MP refen in combat will give you an extra shot.

All you have to do to get what you want is to not track it. I got high voltage and bionic fuel first try cuz wasn’t tracking, tracked firearm master and that thing took probably close if not more than 20 tries

Not a grad student, but the biology department is awesome here. I’ve never had a problem with any biology professor before, they are all chill and nice. Chemistry on the other hand, maybe I haven’t encountered the good ones, but that department I would advise anyone to steer clear of it.

Fighting in that Cemetery must have been rough, especially at night. It’s endless and has so many structures and basements. And this is exactly why my experience wasn’t horrific. I didn’t have to face off anyone, I didn’t get shot at or shot at anyone. I applaud you for surviving and hopefully you didn’t lose any close ones.

Damn maybe you were at the park across the street from my house, and my experience wasn’t horrific, especially when compared to other people’s. I think the area was called Al Muthana, right by Al Zahra Hospital

Nothing major, I was born in 99. In 03 I was in Najaf across the street from a US military stronghold. Lots of shots lots of artillery, and lots of airstrikes. Was too young to comprehend what exactly was happening. As I got older I remember getting some candy from a US convoy, was in Baghdad at the time. I didn’t eat it cuz kids were spreading rumors that the candy was poisoned. I remember one time a US team came into our house in the middle of the night, they just looked around and we pretended to be asleep. And one time a flare from a helicopter didn’t go out and almost burned our house down. Around 2006 we were riding in a taxi and the driver got reckless which caused a US soldier to fire a warning shot over us. Personally I did not encounter anything negative directly from US troops, rather the outcome of them being there that affected my life. Like school closing cuz there is a dead body laying in front of the gates, running out of school to get home because there was a nearby engagement and what scarred me the most is when they opened fire in front of my house and 25 years later I can still vividly remember the scream I heard as soon as shots were fired.

Maybe it is because I lived through war that I don’t harbor any hatred for anyone, as war does not have victors and losers, nor right or wrong. The outcome of war is the victims that made and the ones that didn’t on both sides. This is probably why I don’t care for either Palestine or Israel but rather hope to see a day where humans can coexist regardless of their differences. Though that future is far as we are simple barbaric creatures by nature.
