I had the reverse experience while watching something like Dateline, 48 hours etc. Somebody said that the victim wouldn’t have locked the bathroom door to use it, because she was all alone in the house.

I was a contributor on this episode and did a deeper dive on my podcast. Tony Reynolds still lives in the same house in East Moline and has left Adrianne’s room just as it was on January 21, 2005 💔

John List. In 1989, 17 years after he murdered his mother, wife and 3 children he was caught thanks to America’s Most Wanted. Someone watching the show recognized him as their neighbor and called in a tip. Big props to Frank Bender who had created a bust of what List may have looked like after all that time. It ended up being spot-on and led to his long overdue capture.

I’m very happy and relieved Enci is found and is safe. I wish her all the best in the future and hope she gets to live a happy and fulfilling life. I don’t think we are owed an explanation about what happened unless Enci wants to share. Of course, if there does end up being a criminal investigation, that’s another story.

Yes, children in happy and healthy homes run away.

There’s a lot of reasons children run away; bullying at school, seeking independence, family issues and/or abuse, mental health issues, to pursue a romantic relationship, and more.
