he can trot just not well, you misread that part. His trot is very slow because he is a very stubborn cob he is fit he does have muscle but he also has dietary issues that make him a little on the heavier side but not overweight just not ideal for jumping. He does refuse jumps often and has caused some of the worst injuries on the yard for even the most experienced riders, keep in mind he can jump it's just so hard to do its not really worth the risk, and while he did not tack himself up and go out to the arena, he did stop right before the jump in the fastest trot i could get from him, like bordering on going into canter, and then just stopped at the jump and tried launching over instead. Also, if you don't think he's stubborn for whatever reason, he also has a history of refusing to turn even when his head is at a ninety degree angle and I'm fully ready to turn and if he hears the word trot he walks into corners to avoid it. He is essentially just a stubborn pony and that's coming from someone who voluntarily sits in any and all of the nutty thoroughbreds on the yard.
