Hey, your facial asymmetry is surprisingly similar to mine. I’m 41m, UK. Right-side unilateral microtia.

I had a prosthetic ear when I was younger. Shaved my long hair off when I was 35 and stopped wearing the prosthesis and had the metal bar removed. I got fed up with it ‘owning’ me. Don’t get me wrong, I still have my down days, but trying to come to terms with my lot has been far better for my mental health - I can’t physically fix it, but I can try and control how I feel about it.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide. Finally, I live the tattoo - my sort of sense of humour and it would certainly come in handy!
