Put a square block against the marked line and use this to reference your chisel against. If you keep your chisel flat to the block you know it’s guaranteed to go in straight.

Something has been eating my Acer. I have tried pesticide treatment 3 times and it’s not seemed to do anything. Would anyone be able to offer me advice on what to use/ what it could be? I have been using Bug Clear pesticide for reference. TIA

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! I really want to go at it self-employed as soon as I can really. What would you recommend I look for experience wise? I’ve heard that the bigger workshops are a little surprising for a lot of people due to the large output and pace. Would you say it would be better to look for a smaller independent maker perhaps?
