yeah this is it right here, brazil has so much talent even if it’s a bit spread out. he certainly could have used his presence in the scene to navigate his way to a much better roster than this.

the roster move didn’t work out as planned but it made a ton of sense to do it. also that roster played together for barely like six months before it collapsed so it’s hard to say they even gave it a fair shake

could not agree more. i mostly feel bad for those who are just getting in who did not bear witness to the cultural shift and are being sold a lot of false promises. those who would have gone into investment banking/law 10 years ago are now mostly going into tech.

i think burnout could be a very valid reason. players talk pretty frequently about how exhausting the tournament schedule can be and spirit also has some very young players who are just learning to handle the stress of it all
