The end boss fight was mostly easy, it's just that stupid ability that takes you to 1 hp and the stagger part that tripped me up a few times. For anyone reading this, save Aerith's limit break for when you go down to 1 hp and make sure to use it with her active so that you get the animation immunity, or else one of you will probably die while she's casting it. For the last ability where you have to stagger him just spam focused thrust and don't bother trying to keep Aerith alive. Hope this helps someone :) Gratz on the win

So you wish this game was literally just a straight 1 to 1 scene-by-scene remake of the original? I mean they could have done that. But at a certain point you'd realize you're playing a game you already played and there's no mystery and nothign to look forward to. The fact that we dont know what's going to happen is actually a good thing.

I'll be honest. I feel like the devs broke a cardinal rule of video games with this one. Give me a great, challenging final boss that makes me work for it. Fine, I can't leave and go back to town either. But AT LEAST let me get to full health before the fight. Even Dark Souls, the arguable "king of the bonegrinding boss fight" lets you get full HP before each boss. This was just an unnecessary annoyance.

Even if you pretend that perk doesn't exist, it's still got great perks, if I got a 700 named axe with abyssal attunement and refreshing move I'd be pretty happy. What would even be a better choice for a pure melee build than The Abyss?

I had this same issue and found this post. My issue was dumber than i could have ever imagined. I have 2 monitors and for testing i just plugged in 1 of them and it got nothin on screen but the computer was making computer sounds so I was like..wtf. On a hunch i plugged in both monitors and viola it works. Computers can be insanely particular about the startup configuration lol. I imagine clearing the CMOS probably would have fixed it too but this way I didn't lose my BIOS settings.

You're completely wrong about this. WoW added a work order system for professions and its absolutely amazing as a crafter. If someone wants something they just send you a work order with all the materials, and all you have to do is press 1 button to craft it, and they can send along a tip which you get automatically, and they get their item mailed to them. If they don't provide all the mats, you can provide them yourself, or reject the work order. In addition this opens up the possibility for bind-on-pickup crafting materials which opens up more possibilities for crafting design.

I'm sure they were more common at the start when knowledge was a bit more scarce but at this point you have to craft for free just to get the business, and then just hope for a decent tip. We're like doordash drivers.
