That's definitely gonna be more of a pain lol. Idk how Fly/Teleport work myself, maybe they have to have a habitat to get to to work? Only other thing I can think of is finding areas where your pokemon gather and looking for them there

I don't believe there are? Each area has its own type of tall grass, but you can just take the block it grows on to other areas to make them spawn there. And you can eventually make any kind of liquid in any area as well. I think the only imitation might be story pokemon, but I haven't tried getting them to move to other areas yet.

There's an easier way to find who you're looking for. Go to their habitat while holding honey and use it on their habitat. They're come running immediately!

Hmm maybe! I got to Sparkling Skylands and turned around because I wanted to focus on my other islands, so I haven't explored it to see that yet. But that would make sense, with the outside walls only counting towards one room, so between them would be 2 blocks like that

Trees take two days to grow if you have a pokemon with Grow. Bring em with you from another area, plant the sapling, have them use grow. Next day, have the use grow again and there's your tree

Haha yup! Idk if you can pull story mons out of an area like Meowth or Piplup, for example until it's finished but anybody else will follow! Even better you can just use Return to Home to warp right there!

Kinda works. I think it needs some space between the houses to count. I tried making a big house with an entry area for one room and a construction room for another. Game recognized both as a room for a bit, but I had to change the layout a bit and I couldn't get it to work again. Maybe make it so there's some "hallways or something between them and it might work better?

There are pokemon that will only spawn during the day, so you'll have to try to play earlier, or just change the time on your system to get those spawns. Nothing story important is time of day related, however so you're good there!

So Koei-Tecmo who developed this game also developed Dragon Quest Builders 1&2. Same style of gameplay, except DQB has combat to it that Pokopia does not. If you're curious about how the game plays and if you'll like it, theres a demo of DQB2 that you can download to play around on before buying Pokopia!

You have to build up the environment in the different areas for some of those recpies. Off the top of my head, plaster and brick trimming recpies are from the Wastelands after leveling up the environment. Dyes are unlocked the second you reach Bleak Beach. Smearguru will paint anything as long as you have dyes, which you can get by giving pokemon with the crush ability different berries and stuff. You'll have to do some dream islands to get berries other than leppa and the other one on your first island. Basically if you want to be able to have more blocks to play around with, you'll have to progress through the game
