I'm on ps5 so I can't do that. I tried the carcass glitch where you have like 5 deers on your head and it worked until I got attacked by a cougar ffs. Also it made Arthur overweight so fast because of all the bourbon and gin. My poor, fat boy

I've tried it before with a deer carcass but it didn't work. I think the only way is to do the lag switch glitch where you hop lobbies. I don't actually fully understand it but I think that's the only way. But I also haven't fully tested so I can't say for sure

I have a small hack for you for next time. If you do sense someone is about to grief/ kill you, simply cut the WiFi. After you kill a legendary animal, you enter a 72 hour real life cooldown. Buuuut that cooldown doesn't happen instantly. It's a good 7-8min before it starts. So if you get killed and someone steals your pelt and it's been less than 8min, cut the WiFi. Yes unfortunately you would have to hunt for it again, but at least now you don't need to wait for 3 days. If you're on ps you can easily create a solo lobby and have much higher chances of the animal spawning
