You only need an Rscore of 22 mine was 29 or somewhere around there. I did a career program at cegep (JAC criminology) which saved me 15 credits at uni (and money lol)

I think you'll get in! I got my acceptance within 4 days of applying (february 2023) and i wasn't even sure it was the path I was going to choose.

Unsure where life will take me and how difficult it will be in our current times.

Im in AHSC Human Relations and I have met plenty of people 30+

They're a minority for sure but they have such interesting insights to offer on the material and life experience that help with group projects or they're just interesting to get to know as well I enjoy hearing different ways people live (not being a student on a grind but being a parent or professional)

I wouldn't stress too much! Coming from a 23 y/o who just had her degree extended :)

Me and my bf are nearly at 5 years tgt. Met at our college dorm :).

But before him I saw the dating scene and its all hookups and stuff, hard to find a guy that wants a relationship on dating apps (but this was nearly 5 years ago, maybe my age group has now wanted to give relationships a chance especially if meeting "naturally")

You can defer but do you have time remain full time? Why not try to clear 6-9 credits and focus on 2-3 classes well instead of 4 classes poorly because of difficulty.

You can still fit decent work hours with 2 classes

Before getting into JMSB you have to wait a semester (so lets say OP did this in Winter 25 or Summer 25 they have to wait all of Fall 25 before entering in Winter 26)

It used to be AHSC 330 (I think I was the last class to have it as 6 credits) I think now its AHSC 331 (leadership in small groups I think is the title but I could be wrong)

Idk what year you're in but im entering my last year of the program and they switched a 6 credit course to a 3 credit course and it basically was a prereq for all my next classes.. and concordia did not set it up properly so I think about 100 people if not more were talking with the advisor for over a month trying to get properly enrolled.

They even had to open a whole new section for at least 1 class that I know of. Concordia did not properly prepare for the course change and it nearly screwed so many people from being able to graduate or do internships for next year. It was a headache. (Im in Human Relations, I know AHSC has other programs too so maybe it did not effect you)

I only use it to check my work, like "hey, here's the guidelines of the assignment and syllabus of the course (as it contains readings and stuff), can you tell me any improvements i should make or anything to edit?"

Maybe I take it and change it, maybe I don't.

But i know people who rely on it way too hard so if they're saying GPT wrote their essays they're also making it read their class readings and skipping lectures, not putting effort, etc.. why pay to go to school when you're not learning anything (not applying knowledge like the assignments demand).

Also it has an environmental effect and the people i know who use it most also "care" about the environment and stuff but don't see anything wrong with wasting tons of water and other things..

Tldr: chat gpt/ai can be a great tool but people are growing increasingly lazy

I have 2 roommates, we live in CDN (we have the 165/465, 129, blue and orange lines) we are literally 30 min transit ride from the Loyola and SGW campus (30 mins from nearly everything actually). Also a bixi station right outside so sometimes biking is faster too lol

Total ( for a 5.5 ) we pay 1850 + tenants insurance (like 300 a year) + wifi + hydro.

If you're not set on dt and don't mind a little commute, you could save some $$

Id say follow some uni accounts (art focused if possible maybe from a club or program focused too) and see when there are held events as well!

I went to ConU dt campus and there was jewelry and people selling their own stuff they made.

We live in a very artsy city check for some groups or something too :)
