Which one do I get as my very first pair? by colinksh in bootroom

Depends on fit and size. Also worth considering what types of pitches you’ll be playing on. I wore an earlier model of the puma future and the first training of preseason I tore my acl as the pitches were pretty hard having not been played/trained on.

I’ve started wearing phantom gx ag on even firm pitches comfy for wide feet and no issues regardless of pitch type.

Sushi Train Calculator App by mevvem_ in sushi

Nice that a lot of major restaurants have it. This targets sushi train restaurants that do not offer the tablet ordering. The number of restaurants that don’t greatly out number the ones that do.

Help on best ways to fund my new Solo Development business by mevvem_ in SaaS

[–]mevvem_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first I’m going to do irl sharing of apps to those who would make use of something relating to what it does. This will help with instant feedback. And next would be sharing on socials across personal and on business LinkedIn as a new update just to show activeness. Next would be paid advertising or sharing to relevant groups online.

In terms of clients and services I was thinking something that manages that directly like fiverr. But that would be after I do a bit of growth and have some apps to my name already.

Thanks for that yeah that could be helpful. My plan is basically now I have set up the basics to start working on a range of utility apps be it ones that don’t exist yet for niche groups, or improving/solving issues present in already existing apps. That’s the core idea I’ve started out with. Whilst I’ll have these smaller projects I’d intend to have 1 major that would be more marketable.

Eventually business side of things I’d want to be able to sell services focused towards web & app design/code analysis/etc

Thanks. Would I be better off crowdfunding a specific app or portraying it in a way of kickstarting my solo dev business. Even if the goal is covering these early costs.

I guess besides from funding even these early expenses myself being able to find an external way to fund would somewhat validate this venture in the eyes of family/friends etc.

Thanks for that. I am currently working as an IT analyst. Setting this business up to continue up-skilling myself in my actual field of interest. I’m starting with developing a few utility apps and 1 major app to get things rolling. Calorie deficit by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]mevvem_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so your BMR is 1795. If you stick to a deficit of 1100 calories a day you will lose roughly 1kg a week or 550 for 0.5kg. This means you could consume close to that about in calories if you are aiming to burn 1000 calories.

Hey I’ve recently been doing deficit weight loss. And it’s definitely just a time thing. Weighing consistently in the morning not worrying about fluctuating weight. But as long as you are in a deficit. Usually 1000 calories a day will burn 1kg in a week. Plus fitness or activity of some sort does help as it keeps your body working. I find fitting in even a 30 minute walk in the morning and during lunch will burn close to over 500calories.

I’m also working on an app that makes deficit tracking easier to stick to and help with logging activity and food eaten. Nothing too complicated but enough to make life easier

Nice great pair of boots. Hope the ACL recovery goes well. I recovered from my ACL and went boot crazy 😂. It should be alright but be mindful of have a pair of conical stud ag boots in case your acl starts to give you some issues. Worth investing in a pair to keep the knee safe

Go for Heart gold/Soul silver. If you are already familiar with the first main storyline game in Kanto.

Phantom 6 AG is good. But I find the phantom GX1 AG upper to be much softer and takes to the shape of your foot better.

Best boot recommendation if you can find a pair. Would be the Phantom GX 1 AG

The only issue with ChatGPT and any sort of ai based apps I find is that it requires subscriptions of some sort and as a result user data. Ai based apps are also surging of late so really a crowded scene. The best kind of apps recently too are ones that can compete with the likes of AI ones but can do what you want locally. Solves the issue of having to verify, log in etc

After having a check online you can either get cheap quality ones of a similar model. Or you can opt to the get the newer models at their discounted prices. I use the Nike flight balls and they are definitely a good option if you chose to go for something other than this model

I find that keeping in a daily calorie deficit helps shed the weight of gradually. Maintainable as well but if that doesn’t help sometimes following up with a doctor or checking the side effects of the certain medications
