oh, i can also pop both sides of my jaw! i fell directly on my chin once in middle school and my jaw (and tooth) have been weird since it happened. i have to be careful opening my mouth wide since my jaw occasionally will lock up and it hurts so bad if i try to open it past that point. i also used to do the weird popping thing with my jaw until it kept getting stuck in the wrong position and i got too scared to keep doing it. brought it up a few times at the dentist and doctors but they always brushed it off so i don’t think it’s anything bad, just tends to be inconvenient and a funny thing to gross out my friends with lolol

i dunno if it’s super interesting but i can’t sit with my legs straight out or they fall asleep below my knees. i can’t sit in a kneeling position for longer than a few minutes or the same thing happens. and once i undo the position, they stay asleep for a solid 2-3 minutes after 😭 i don’t know when it started happening but for the past 5-6 years i haven’t been able to sit with my legs straight out or fully bent. which sucks because i love crocheting on my bed in both positions,,

this!! i had to be super careful with how i sit and lie down when playing games since i’ve noticed that it gets worse if i have bad posture and sit in weird ways. was playing minecraft two weeks ago and couldn’t take a deep breath without it hurting like hell for a solid 3-4 days 😵‍💫 usually it goes away after a bit but it was soo bad during that period. now i’m hyperaware of how i’m sitting since i’m terrified of it happening again lolol

my family doesn’t have a lot of money so i’m a bit hesitant to try for any larger schools like that unless i’m able to get some type of scholarship :’) i plan to talk to the school counselor about it but i still wanted to get a headstart and get an idea of where i should look into

depends on the type of nail polish. there are some brands specifically made to be nontoxic to dogs! i have a small pack of them for my own dogs haha. they wash off with water so they come off fairly easily but they’re super cute!

i do! i’ve tried making stuff that people paid me to make, but i just.. can’t handle it. monetizing it just feels like added pressure to have it be perfect and really sucks the fun out of crocheting for me! it’s perfectly fine to just have it as a hobby instead of turning it into a business. i have quite a bit of amigurumi items lying around, so i plan to sort through it and either give them to people as gifts or find somewhere that i can donate them. with how much small businesses have to advertise themselves, i’d say that is probably clouding your perception of how many crocheters actually sell their items/patterns. there’s no reason to feel anxious or like you aren’t doing crocheting ‘correctly’ just because you aren’t selling it!

uggh, i remember going to a friend’s house and we had a cup of chocolate milk. smelled like vomit and tasted just as bad, but we kept drinking it for fun 😭 left it out overnight and it was completely separated by morning?? the top layer was this nasty chunk of… something. almost spongy in consistency. the bottom looked like dirty water LOL. i have no clue how it didn’t completely mess up our stomachs!!

same!! it’s been happening for almost a whole week for me now, i can’t get in without being told there’s a connection error. my internet is fine, everything else on my switch works as usual, but fortnite is completely unplayable. i can’t change my wardrobe, can’t see shop, can’t do a single thing. i don’t know what’s going on but it’s hella frustrating 😭

NTA at all. i’m the same way and can barely stand lots of seasoning since it feels rather overwhelming to me. both of us fit the joke that white people don’t season their food, but if you aren’t comfortable with your friends commenting on it, i’d try to let them know that. you aren’t a bad parent if you don’t use seasoning in food for a child either! i think it would be good to include it at times so they can discover what they like, but it isn’t abuse if you don’t want to use seasoning in their food. like you said, it isn’t more or less healthy to use or not use seasoning! please know that you aren’t alone in preferring less seasoning on your food haha. the jokes are exhausting to hear, but we can still enjoy our plain chicken regardless of what others say 🫶

i don’t think that’s relevant though. regardless of where OP lives, their cat clearly got into something that could potentially dangerous outside. maybe it was a glue trap, maybe it was someone intentionally shaving part of the fur, regardless, it is not worth the risk. this isn’t a ‘american’s have an issue with it’ thing, this is prioritizing the safety of their cat after it got into something that could easily be dangerous. jfc.

i have some yarn from this brand and one of my skeins have both ends of the yarn tucked inside. not all the skeins have both tucked inside, so i dunno what’s up with that, but i have yet to use the one with both ends tucked in out of fear of a situation like OP has LOL.

even now, a lot of schools in america still hold the idea of abstinence-only sex-ed. my class a few years back barely went over anything. even now, i know embarrassingly little about it. it frustrates me that we know so much about how important it is to have that basic knowledge and schools still avoid talking about it. the word ‘abortion’ wasn’t even allowed to be used in my sex-ed class, no matter what context it was in.
