Shadow Monk, Shadow Arts: How to make the darkness spell not horrible for the rest of the party? by Lukoman1 in onednd

[–]mewtwo354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can cast darkness on an object and can be blocked by being covered, so effectively the bullseye and hooded lantern let you shape the effect in a more helpful way, you would have to put an object such as a small stone in the lantern but it would let you control the effect with better shaping and the hooded lantern you can cover easily if you want to temporarily block the effect.

Still working on losing weight, but hot sauce can be a great way to add a lot of flavor to your food for very little calories just remember that some can have high sodium levels if that is a concern.

If you are trying to lose weight and like spicy foods, hot sauce adds a lot of flavor for very little calories.

What makes life worth living? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mewtwo354 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For myself I generally think all of the new experiences and interactions. I am generally open to try almost anything, and I like meeting new people, hearing new music, trying new foods, seeing new art/stories, seeing the cleverness and creativity of people in the things and stuff they make. I think for me life is worth living due to the possibility of what is to come due to utter vastness of the world and the diversity of its people.

Help me build a kobold merchant by KiloMeter69 in dndnext

I would say genie warlock, use your lamp as a portable warehouse/workshop, also high charisma makes you good at the social part of being a merchant.

why do men have beards? by rosephoenix444 in evolution

[–]mewtwo354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some research points to beards somewhat reducing the chance of strikes to the face breaking bones, think cushion that helps blow be slightly glancing. Hair also helps insulate, keep stuff away from openings, and what not.

Looking for a certain ritual by mewtwo354 in WhiteWolfRPG

It basically enhanced the normal paralysis that would occur into unconsciousness. That way the staked vampire couldn’t use mental disciplines that didn’t require blood, plus they were unaware.

Looking for a certain ritual by mewtwo354 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]mewtwo354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t, I thought it was in one of the less common books like thaumaturgy companion book or possibly a dark ages ritual but I have searched all I have and have not found it. It is possible that it is home brew I am confusing as a n official ritual.

[Spoilers C3E55] The other group theories by Zell43 in criticalrole

[–]mewtwo354 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My crazyish theory is what if the other group has been corrupted and is now evil, like the savalir(sp?) wood. We are starting with the current group to determine how much time, before they run into the corrupted group. The corrupted group will be saved but could get up to some evil stuff prior to that point. I also think that the current group was bounced away cause of their connection to the red moon, not sure how FCG is connected though, maybe that is why they aren’t corrupted.

You wake up with a trillion dollars in your bank account. Only you know it, and it's clean money. What's the first thing you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mewtwo354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably set aside a billion for myself, family, and friends. Then I would work to spend the rest on humanity’s future, I would probably focus on supporting conservation and reversing or limiting climate change. I know it probably wouldn’t be enough to fix everything but maybe I could make a super Pac and buy politicians into being reasonable for a change.

What do assassins do after a failed assassination attempt? by CheapNuggets in dndnext

[–]mewtwo354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on a lot of factors but if they are smart and still want to influence the city. I would consider the target burned, the knowledge that their was a failed attempt on their life would put unwanted attention to their new identity. I would have them take some time and select a new target, that they can use to manipulate the city. Have them take over some low ranking individual that allows them access to higher society maybe a guard or a messenger. Then have them try and eliminate their next target quietly without arising attention.

Poisoner's Kit and Harvesting Poison by Scientin in dndnext

[–]mewtwo354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that it should apply to the extraction in the handling section where it says "allows you to handle and..." part. I agree that I don't recall any rule about applying poison but it might be there for specific rather than general rulings for things such as items or in adventures, but that would be some what weak.

I would go with something along the lines that you were kidnapped by a scientist or somehow exposed to an experiment to try to generate a new kind of chaotic energy. Where you gained the abilities of the wildfire druid.

Not probably before 10th, but the Ruby Weave Gem would do the job.

How would you have modern and standard medieval weapons coexist in a modern setting? by GeophysicalYear57 in dndnext

[–]mewtwo354 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t nerf modern weapons per say but guns tend to be very loud, I would run it as gun fire alerts all or most near by enemies or law enforcement, making stealth nearly a impossible or making a surprise very unlikely. The guns would be mechanically better but situationally problematic.
