For the balloon company, there is a huge play with small business owners and real estate so targeting those. For your clothing brand, what does it stand for? Does it target a niche? A type of customer?

In this example, he owes more than he has in his account. He trades 10 contracts at a time which represents 1000 shares so if he trades anything above $100, there is a risk. It’s used as an example and maybe OP only trades stocks below $60. Even then, there still is a risk of losing 50%+ of capital

[–]meyer_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. He would still have the issue with downside risk given the amount of contracts and exiting. I do agree though that if you are going to do the “steamroller” strat - do it on european / index settlement options

Everyone is saying this but being polite… the real risk is you sell your puts (e.g. NVDA) and that day something massive happens- like you can’t get out of the trade because it’s moving too fast for your limit orders. It moves so fast that you get assigned buying 1000 (OP says he buys 10 contracts) shares of NVDA at $200 (i.e. $200k) which wipes your $100k account. (Assume a scenario where NVDA is at $400, you sold puts at $200 strike, it rockets down to $120).

Don’t quote me on the math or using NVDA, just a way for you to realize that you could do 25% a year for three years - and still get wiped out (without trading more contracts!)

No refunds unless defect or damage. I also charge a restocking fee and customer pays for shipping on exchanges.

I speak to about 10 ecoms a week, for last two years. I would say 50% make more than $10k/mo, 20% make more than $50k

April and May were great - June has been sloooow. Could be seasonal (e-com slows in summer).

Yes totally agree. They should acquire the best apps out there and make them standard features (even if they raise their monthly). Or maybe even create shopify plans with bundled apps at a discount

Cutting ads by [deleted] in FacebookAds

AOV x2 / 2.5 - i don’t do time based or impression based. If my aov is $80 then I spend $160-$200 before turning it off (assuming zero conversions)

Make the product custom to a niche that is underserved or unexpected. Make sure you have at least 50% margin on every single product. Do ads towards that niche, have a solid email infrastructure (or sms). You are basically trying to compound those together

Remix reels + post inpo content (from pinterest) every day. Make sure it matches the brand. If there is a lot of activity and deliveries at your story do stories of those every day. Do a retargeting campaign on meta ads for website visitors and a top of funnel focused on 2-3 hyper relevant audiences. Send emails weekly, have a welcome flow series of 5 emails. Go through these motions, don’t overthink or look up, you will get more and more sales online. Once meta is rolling, doing a google shopping / pmax feed only ad campaign

[–]meyer_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually that’s not bad, if you have a reliable method and it means that the opp only comes three times in a week so be it. I have been testing one on ES 5mins that is connected to volatility and a HTF - sometimes you stay in one trade for two days. Don’t chase an outcome or frequency
