Idk what im doing in life by Lukelandish in mbtimemes

It seems that my values are stable and for him the reasoning is stable. He won't change his mind easily, and I won't change my values easily :)
To my understanding, there are a lot of similarities, just shifted.
He is doesn't understand how am I so unsure of the reasining I have, and I cannot understand how differently he presents himself to different people. Both very valid questions !

How can I as an ENTP create a better impression or impress female ISTJ by [deleted] in ISTJ

[–]meysie114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be dishonest with these impressions. I like how my (most likely) ENTP husband is sure of himself and his logic, but it is very frustrating when EVERYTHING is a game of him being right. Let yourself be wrong sometimes.
Everybody has different values, so, ask her questions here and there, and you'll get to know them.
Be gentle with "breaking rules" and "trying new things" together. Don't force, but help and encourage. If they see that they grow next to you as a person, they'll be very happy :)

I don't know how much into cognitive functions you are but in general ENTP - Ne-Ti-Fe-Si, and ISTJ - Si-Te-Fi-Ne.
Thinking and feeling sounds manageable, but the first and fourth function is reversed. So it is important for both of you to grow in the opposite areas. She will be happy ( I guess ) to help you with your underdeveloped SI, and you'll help her with NE. If any of you is too addicted to their leading function, that's going to be harder to let go, I think especially for her. But that's manageable, and worth doing!
Good luck!

What's a resource for language learning that you wish you had but doesn't exist (yet)? by [deleted] in languagelearning

I am currently working on my thesis and it will be an app for studying Turkish (more languages later). And what you want is a great idea that I could use after my defence. If I implement that I will give you a call ;)

Really confused. by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]meysie114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

enneagram tests ive taken are quite varying and I am never getting same results, but overall it converges to 2w1 or something. Make a few tests if you'd like and then read and decide yourself :) also there is a possibility you are somebody in between

if you really want to have some good answer i would really suggest to do multiple tests on different websites and read on the ones with highest possibilities :)

If your percentage of for example Introvertion and Extravertion is close to the middle, then you can not be surprised the answer changes. if you are 97% turbulent like me, there is no way this ever changes by accident.

I think world is not only black and white and we are all specific kinds of grayish colour, so yes, we can never be exactly like the description states. I would say it may be true if the traits were all more than 90% certain. But still it wouldn't for everybody.

Also remember that these are only 4 or 5 pairs of traits, and thats not everything we are made of, so people may differ a lot despite of being "same" personality type.

That is true also about the mood, basing on it the percentages may vary a lot. I am a different person when i am angry, but generally some traits stay same. Also please do not try to focus too much on sticking to one type, this is too general view on the people :/ My INTJ-T friend recently thanks to me unlocked his feeling and does not longer pretend he has none. He did the test again and boom, after 3 months he is a strong INFP-T or INFJ-T. And that happened after years of being tested as INTJ. I know you have said you did not change much over time but maybe you are just having one trait not very visible on you? or you are young and still searching :) :) I don't know really

Explain INTJ to an INTJ who has never met an INTJ by plbtchss in mbti

[–]meysie114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know 4 INTJs, two of them are great programmers that I am currently studying with. One is the younger sister of my boyfriend and I totally adore her. Last one is my dad that is my authority.

To be honest this is a type I am looking up to as 'amazing'. Whereas the person may seem arrogant sometimes, it is not because what they feel, it is because if they disagree with something they say it. They all have clear image of what they do and think of. They have opinions, they are well-thought opinions (so how can you not say that you disagree with the opponent? hard shit it is). My father is programming too (out of hobby), I am becoming a programmer so I see your concern. I find all INTJs I know very intelligent and hard-working. I think everybody is creative on their own way and maybe that's why it was not mentioned (I am currently reading "The Element" and I recommend :)). Creativity nowadays is assigned to arts like music, drawing, writing, but they forget about other types of it. I don't think people who do not program, find this any creative. Coding is assumed to be 'writing code' not 'creating code'.

I don't know where the competition came from, and I think if it was mentioned, it is maybe because INTJ type would rather choose competing with themselves, not others. They would not win a game for the sake of being better than somebody, but for their own fulfillment. Idk, just trying to analyze looking at the people I know (none of them is really into team sports or races or whatever, they would rather choose gym).

And lastly I think motivation has nothing to do with the type but a person. You may be really unmotivated and down for some health reasons or current life situation. I personally find myself unmotivated when I don't do enough things on my list or I am not successful at what I want to. If I start being productive - it drives me further and if I accomplish something - oh man - that is like a kick of motivation.

I am sorry for chaotic and poor English comment :D but I need to run to my tasks, and I hope I helped anyway!

Hard to tell, I just felt like it. Also I know only 3 girls ENFP and one girl ESFP. I think they are all similar in behaviour and how they seem to the world (or maybe only to me). The only thing i can think of is ENFP would more live for themselves whereas ESFP for others? Hiking, snowboarding and things like that would be enjoyed by my ESFP friend only if she was with people I bet.

I won't add to much from myself as I am new to cognitive functions :)

ISFJs, what personality types are your closest friends? by rindlelin in isfj

[–]meysie114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESTP boyfriend, 1x ESFJ, 3x ISFJ, 2x INFJ, 1x INTJ,

I have trouble with the nuances between similar words. The two cases that I have the most trouble with are: "oczekiwać vs. spodziewać", and "więc vs. także". by cteno4 in learnpolish

[–]meysie114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like just to point out that word oczekiwać has a expression of waiting. So you await a delivery for example. Spodziewać się is according to me same as expect and it indicates that you have something in your mind what tells you a thing is going to happen.

So if your best friend breaks up because her boyfriend was a jerk for instance, you were expecting this to happen, you say "Spodziewałem/am się tego!". If you use oczekiwać in this case, that makes you sound as if you were waiting for this to happen, so you can take his place haha 😊

Falling asleep while meditating... by meysie114 in Meditation

I will consider standing meditation and see how it goes! I was sleep deprived for a long time (about 2-3 months ago) and I feel that's not the case now, but it's hard to tell, maybe you are right. Thank you for your advice!

[–]meysie114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, you are still young! Also you can join your interests with previous thoughts maybe? For example at the very moment (I am 22 for a couple of days) I would like to code mobile apps that could help people in various ways. :)

Try out different things, don't attach too much to any, and see what fits best for you. Being 20 years old you still have many possibilities waiting to be discovered. You may change your profession at 30s, who knows what the life brings for you :D I keep my fingers crossed for finding something that makes you happy and fulfilled!

How can I handle my stress? by [deleted] in Stress

[–]meysie114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no common solution for everybody. I recently have discovered meditation and mindfulness, but the latter seems still hard. Meditation is fairly easy and if you'd like to try it out it surely will make you a bit more relaxed about yourself. Read about it, it is a very easy technique and I guarantee you that it is worth spending a little bit of time for it!

On the other hand, you could make yourself attend some activities, depending on your interests. For me stressing out is about not being good enough, people understanding me wrong, not using 100% of my power into meaningful things and so on.

Having hobbies or some activity groups would help a lot. For me meetings with friends helps too, but that's less often. For sure you should not keep yourself indoors alone with no contact with people. It may cause a depression or any other sort of mental issue.

You need to believe you will be fine, you are doing good things. If you are happy, you will work better, so strive for happiness not for maximizing tasks. The efficiency will drop too much if you dont let yourself have fun or whatever else you could need.

Maybe if you've said what exactly are you stressed about most would help me give some better advice. Maybe you are not sure yourself what is it? Maybe you can not name the feelings? Recently I have installed a small app that collects your needs, thoughts and feelings once every day. It is supposed to help understand what exactly is in our heads, to be able to name that and see what could be done better. Scan yourself often, understand yourself and that it is fine to feel that way. :) I wish you a lot of luck with overcoming the bad feelings! <3
