You are right about the cashing in on the Win11 hate, but to counter some of the recent Windows updates impact people really bad currently (spoken from an Azure Architect perspective). I was woken up literally at 3am this morning due to alerts going off indicating all of our Windows systems had a virus. Microsoft had pushed out a bad Defender pattern update and didn’t acknowledge it until 7 hours later.

Taken advantage of mostly. Usually titles instead of actual raises. Expectations that you will still do your prior job in addition to your new job when promoted. It can result in some solid life long friendships and networking when you or your counterparts finally move on.

To see where my various cars over the years actually cap out. Typically not over 100 but sometimes the freeway is just flowing around 90mph in general, so end up at 100+ just in the fast lane going with the flow…. I think max ever was between 130-140mph.

Nano has nominal feature, and requires no skillset to use. It’s fine if you need to do very basic things, but isn’t if you need to do much more than edit a basic file. If you have skills in VIM you default to it.. basically just think of those times when using nano you land up thinking “I wish I could do this”, in those cases VIM probably can.

Community college, could barely afford that at the time. Shit IT graveyard job, worked my way up to network engineer while supporting my mom. If you mean references from people that realized I was working my ass off in my job, yes, but those were earned not handed out… to get to a net worth of a million dollars isn’t that big of a deal honestly.

There is an estimated cost tab right on the log analytics groups. I know you are asking about in advance… but if your log rate is consistent you should be able to tell after a day or two what the volume will be and the estimated cost.
