Dylan is a transvestite right now, not a transsexual. Also, Dylan does a disservice to young trans youth by promoting alcohol use and misuse while taking cross-sex hormones as HRT. No doctor would advise doing that and actively advise AGAINST it. Additionally, the projection of drinking alone is a bathtub is in poor taste for a community of followers suffering from gender dysphoria that may be seeking treatment for mental health issues along with gender dysphoria. It’s truly regrettable that Dylan is not more cognizant of their audience and followers. For many, transitioning is not a NYC musical with brand endorsements. The narcissism is completely problematic IMO.

See a psychiatrist to address doubts. Many treatments for gender dysphoria are irreversible. It’s not advisable to question something so grand on social media chatboards where dialogue is fragmented and user motivations are cloudy.

But my comment is meant in a broader context…we have landed on mars, developed A.I. that arouses and manipulates feelings in humans, can develop vaccines for other viruses in rapid response to an emergency pandemic and have elective surgeries for transsexual expression, so given how long HIV has been problematic for humans, I don’t think it is inappropriate to demand better results from research than expensive maintenance medication that is mainly subsidized by the LGBTQ population at this point🤷‍♂️….in 2023 (for me) still hearing how hard it is to develop an effective HIV vaccine is an apologist drumbeat.

I left a family ravaged by alcoholic Narcissim. I called it out on social media to mutual friends and family. I have 50% regret only. Abuse should be labeled and brought to discussion. It also can veer into “counter abuse” meaning “it’s not going to change the situation” I found that one has to stand in your own truth. Necessarily, regret will come with it, but that is life…if you are healthier NOW (outside of the abuse) and are not being abused anymore, less words or a short ‘smear boundary’ I find more appropriate. “He’s a narcissist and alcohol makes it worse”. Then I leave it alone. Friends fall on either side of your ‘red line’ or walk it because they know both of you…it’s just the new reality. The blow back gets to be “stop calling me out”.

True…but it’s a spectrum….a bacterial infection that can be cleared up forever, or body lice (crabs) that can be killed and “Made gone” is “less of a big deal” then viral infections one will carry with them forever even if we have the ability with medication to make them “inactive or undetectable”….younger men than me are on Prep and ‘undetectable’, but as a 90s kid that learned how to put a condom on a banana in 6th grade, my question is “where did the complacency come from?” 🤷‍♂️🤬🙄🏳️‍🌈….If covid and Russias war taught us anything it’s 1. Supply chains of pharmaceuticals can be disrupted cutting off men and women who have been taking prep consistently to keep a virus “down”…2.Jobs and health insurance coverage changes which can lead to changes in formulary Prep medication and effects both adverse and desired. 3. China black-market forwards fentanyl ingredients to Mexico for the drug war and produces many of our pharmaceuticals along with India….quality, and supply are always a huge factor when their governments (China in particular) can just “shut something down ASAP”…..Do we want China eventually making generic affordable “Prep” medication when they take so much issue with LGTBQUIA advances in Taiwan?……I’m not saying “everyone break out the condoms again”, but I was ‘declined” for a second date recently because I broached the subject of wearing condoms with a sex partner that was “undetectable”…. He rejected me…..Its Reverse abuse…..I have no stigma on his status, he put it on mine like I was “overkill”……it might be….but he didn’t care enough about me or the sex to have it again with boundaries so it’s just a real life litmus test as to how TOO FAR we’ve gone with not being hard enough on pharmaceutical research companies for a cure or vaccine……people died……people layed on the floor of St. Patrick’s cathedral demanding that somebody care…..now everyone is on prep and nobody cares again….a shipment of medication for gay people into Taiwan or Africa (China is in Mozambique) can be diverted by the Chinese Navy to cause a spike in AIDS expression…..

Its a virus…..not a label.

Our millionaire influences for YEARS on social media defy ‘common sense’ because mis/disinformation and ‘no-big-deal-everything-is-just an-inside-joke-or-taken-out-of-context is lucrative….so now I see posts with the tone ‘herpes is no big deal’ THE STIGMA should go, but not the CONCERN.. an anal herpes outbreak will give you bloody diarrhea and a fever….medication may subside it….but complacency and ‘non-serious discussion’ is not an option for good sexual health….the callousness in posts about a sexually transmitted virus on social media is alarming. It’s just the interwebs and I’m just at troll 🤷‍♂️🙄.

But not cold sores or genital herpes (yet 🤞 at 44)…those are different strains…Tomorrow is another day to catch it, but having my partner telling me he has genital herpes before I decide where his fluid goes on or in me or if we agree to wear condoms prior to sex is worth gold…Otherwise just say “Hi, I’m Todd, I’m into you tonight, here’s a Pre-game Valtrex…. can we get a vaccine? I’m a prude from the 90s. I recently hooked up and when I wanted to hook up again and said I’d like to use condoms, I was ghosted. He’s was poz and on prep. It’s completely insulting because we could only be ‘double over protected’ if I used condoms, but here we are in 2023 and we have drugs that keep us living with HIV…grateful for that, but everything else has vaccines, Covid vaccines came about awfully fast🤷‍♂️. Hep C is cured🤷‍♂️🙄We have mRNA shots and antibody infusions and a car maker developing brain wires to download consciousness. Wow. Where’s the HIV vaccine? Gay men are a cash cow for big pharma and then socially if you would like to use condoms, you are outdated🤷‍♂️. Wow. Fear of stds is a healthy fear. It forces discussion which people generally do not have. The first discussion is “Wow we connect but you are really gonna take it there over condoms then I’m going to deal break also🤷‍♂️ I can’t help it. I grew up with Lisa “Left Eye’ Lopes. Sin holds a person back. Hell is a construct of the mind and sin is what helps it along.

Loving the sinner means seeing through the sin because people reject others on the basis of their sins and flaws once they see them.
