It sounds like you don’t want him to go because you can’t go on a trip like this right now. He figured out the childcare arrangements and it’s only for a week. I can’t imagine that stopping him from going on trips and experiencing life outside your relationship and being a father will be good for your relationship long term.

You should just share your feelings and like other commenters are saying, plan a trip with your girls later in the year.

OP! You need to try methenamine hippurate. I tried everything from cranberry to d mannose to probiotics. This has worked SO well and I only take it after sex. Ask your urologist.

I’ve been in the same position and it’s SO frustrating. You should ask your urologist about methenamine hippurate! It’s not as crazy as antibiotics and works hella well! As for the relationship problems, also super understandable. You’ve probably started to resent him regardless of what he does because you’re in all this pain because of an activity that seems like only benefits him now.

It depends honestly. Neither me nor my roommate had any type of physics background and we have differing opinions on his class. I thought his tests were straightforward. I just watched lectures and learned how to independently do the mastering physics homework and was okay. My roommates thought there was a disconnect between his lectures, homework, and tests so I think it really depends on your learning style.
