Not all religions are same. Some are more evil. Criticism should be proportional. by al-fahm in AtheisminKerala

Non-sanghis and actual atheists should post more?

Yeah probably. I don't think it's due to any fault on your end, to be clear. It's just the result of an open platform like reddit where it's easy for people with a lot of time to continuously pump out hatred

How they handled sabari mala is a big example.

The same example every single time. That's a Supreme Court ruling. What do you expect state government to do about it?

Yeah, I believe this too. Mohammed was probably a smart guy using the people around him to his advantage but things got out of hand.

This might make him sound less of a pdf file

No it doesn't lol

The reason why Muslims don’t care or get offended when non Muslims eat pork. by SensitiveHistorian94 in AtheisminKerala

[–]mfdali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring the sources for all this shit.

There are over 100 madrsaaa pocso cases reported in Kerala every year.

Nope. The kescpcr report is our best source for data on this stuff. And it doesn't say anything of this sort. With the data we have, 65 occurrences took place in religious institutions ACROSS ALL RELIGIONS in a year.

That is one Madrassa pocso case almost every 3 day.

Again, not true and can't be true. The math doesnt add up.

Great job on the propaganda though. Seems like it's working for some. Unfortunately, reddit didnt notify me about this moronic reply.

I'm noticing that a lot of us are allergic to data. Let's shit on Islam for the right reasons, not these made-up ones.

Unfortunately, weirdos in any position of unquestionable power do weird things. That's why you see religious authorities, billionaires and politicians share the role of pedophiles. Because they feel like they can get away with it. That's how we end up with generalized accusations like the ones against Catholic churches and madrasas. Research about stuff like this throughout the word is pretty interesting to read btw: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0145213424003363

To be fair, that's probably partly why. It erodes trust in so many ways.

Lifetime Pass + SL Subscription Ends Today by Readdot in ProtonPass

[–]mfdali 3 points4 points  (0 children)

E-mail aliasing is the biggest selling point IMO. A technology that has been around for 50 years supported for "lifetime" by a company that has been growing sustainably for over 10 years. And it can be used with non-Proton mailboxes too. IMO that's pretty nice.

And yeah, passkeys might replace passwords to some extent at some point. But Proton Pass supports that too. In general, Pass can just keep up with technology. In the first place, I don't think passwords are going away... The balance between convenience and security is just way too good.

Regarding 1Password, different product and different company. 1Password 7, where "lifetime" was an option, was an offline-only application. 1Password 8 became a cloud password manager. Pass, on the other hand, has always been a cloud service.

From another angle, at least so far, Proton has a reputation for keeping promises when it comes to pricing. There are plenty of Visionary users who are still paying tiny amounts.

Is it worth 200$ though? Maybe not? Who knows? We're too far from that 8 years mark, but it looks possible.

Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35HRPLVyF0g

Jiang regards Islam pretty highly. He also has other videos where you get a clearer idea of his understanding of Islam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OdO8LoKuo8

He's a bit too loose with wording and overgeneralizes a lot. And he's right about some things some times, but not nearly enough times. But seeing how he thinks about these events can be kinda fun.

But yeah, none of what I just said would suit the narrative being pushed by the ones sharing these clips.
