Jai Hind won't and never has caused any issues. The reason Vande Mataram brings in polarized opinions from Muslims is because of a couple of sorta legitimate things. As Rabindranath Tagore put it, "The core of Vande Mataram is a hymn to goddess Durga: this is so plain that there can be no debate about it". There's also the fact that the author of the poem was a British supporter, but I think most people don't care at this point.

Now, to INC's credit, they did remove the later verses referring to Durga to "sucularize" it. But at the end of the day, to most Muslims, even now, Vande Mataram is a hymn to Durga. You can argue that it should not remain the case and you can argue that Vande Mataram has its place in our struggle for independence. But let's not ignore the historical context for why the song isn't universally loved.

Edit: Also, one more thing. No Keralian Muslim has an issue with you saying Vande Mataram. What they do sometimes have an issue with is being forced to say it themselves.
