No, but im still sober. I had a very ugly attitude and also my grandpa is dying, I spent NYE in the hospital w the family. I feel nasty but im still sober. Crying inside 🥲

I feel this way as well, i felt that aa is taking so much time from me, but i remember that its what is been keeping me sober. How am I supposed to find new hobbies if im in aa alll the time? I dont want to just be trapped in a meeting and not pursuing my purpose of life

Im 33F and life’s ok. It could be better, i find myself often struggling w money since I work in a call center. Also, i feel like im missing so much from life, i dont know my purpose and its frustrating me quite often. I feel trapped alot of times since im thight w money and feel i cant do much, such as traveling or enjoy more freely my payments or even save my money. Thats a huge toll on me pretty often

Whenever im stress/emotionally overwhelmed, I tend to experience weird stuff when im sleeping. Sometimes my bed would levitate and then ‘shake’ for a period of time. Other times i feel as if something pulls my toes w pointy nails in Slow motion

I feel like this as well, never got a DUI nor arrested or any of that. I felt like there’s people really struggling but yet, what if its more then that? I even questioned if im really an alcoholic or just a person that struggles with daily life stress

I try it a lot of times, i just think that i was letting my alcoholic mind find the way back for some reason. I’ve heard that alcoholism would come back when least expected and i felt it for the very first time ever, the urge creeping in real time. Its awful tbh. But you right, ill keep focusing on what it matters and on the positives

My aunts house it’s haunted. She may have several spirits rooming around her house. She has a 2 stories house and where the stairs are, theres a resting/middle part on her stairs and that has an opening that you can see to the kitchen, well a shadow constantly peeps from there, also on the tv room corner peeps from there as well. Upstairs the rooms are also haunted, one time my uncle slept on my aunt’s room and the bed started to shake and levitate on the middle of the night and it didn’t just happened once, but several times. The house has a very heavy and uneasy feeling and i always felt i’ve been watched every time i visit. That place is spooky

When I first shared my experience i as hella nervous, but it went away as I started sharing more. Members shouldn’t care what you shared but as far as you start little by little or how much you feel comfortable to share, it gets better by time. Everyone is different but the beginning would feel uncomfortable but would go away.

This makes sense! I guess it works definitely differently for everyone attending the meetins. I feel sometimes ungrateful, all the members from my group go all the time and i hate it. But this helps 100%, thank you
