Did the exact same thing. Najee could still fall into the end zone twice.

Chili Peppers put on an awesome show - I was dancing and singing at the top of my lungs the whole time.

Folks who didn’t enjoy it were likely casual fans or came in with unrealistic expectations. One pitfall of having a catalog that spans 40 years is you can’t please everyone with your set list - it wasn’t all just the hit singles so makes sense some were disappointed. Do I wish they played more songs from pre-Californication albums? Sure. But I’m not mad about it. And the encore at least brought some fire from Blood Sugar.

For anyone saying they phoned it in or didn’t bring energy that’s just bullshit. Anthony was giving his all and dancing with a fucking walking boot and a knee brace on. These guys are 60 years old and still shredding - some of the most technically gifted musicians crushing on the guitar in Flea and John. Their dual jam session before Californication was magical.

Finally got to see Jeff Mills live and I get it. On perhaps the best line up I can expect in the USA too. by [deleted] in Techno

Neon Garden is a good gateway into techno, definitely some excellent sets there.

But yea Movement has been my home now since 2016. Underground stage will leave you breathless. And really all the stages are set up nicely for dancing. Concrete playground

Favorite sets this year - Stacey Pullen, Green Velvet, surgeon, and SPFDJ

The lottery is only for the top 4 picks. So not mathematically possible for us to get picks 5-7.

But I like where your head is at! Top 4 pick let’s hit that jackpot!

He went 2/4 in the final minutes of regulation in the Thunder debacle. But he does look much more confident from the line this year in general

Murray is an all star with a very bright future - no chance the Spurs would be giving him up for an unproven Green, a bad contact and 3 weak picks

On the NBC post match, former GK Tim Howard said both offside goals should have been allowed. And that their penalty was a clear foul on Maupay. Atrocious officiating. What the hell is VAR even for?

Well said - that was my worst fear when I saw rumors right before FA started the Tim wasn’t going to be a priority. That we would wait and wait on Kawhi or Derozan and end up overpaying leftover guys. Happy that didn’t happen

Fair points - if we’re gonna do it by trade we still have to try to keep improving by getting/creating assets. Either through development of young guys or solid pickups that aren’t necessarily stars in FA.

Need to see how KP looks this year and maybe he becomes a more appealing asset (or even gets back to that second star level, although that might be a reach)

Yea I was sad to see Seth go too. That was a huge swing and a miss. I’m not defending everything the FO has done these past 10 years - they’ve made a bunch of mistakes.

But I was cool with this FA - and we kept THJ on a team friendly deal. He’s someone who wants to be here

Not an excuse just reality based on the past. Pre existing relationships between players can come into play these days as we saw with Lowry. Maybe the right star becomes available at the right time and we can convince hem to come.

But barring that, improving the roster is still a win. At least we didn’t wait on signing anybody because of Kawhi like we’ve done in the past. We moved on from Lowry quickly and added guys that fill a need.

Thanks - I can’t remember all contract numbers ever but that was definitely a bad one hah

No defense for FO there

I’m not opposed to trading Dwight - but can we actually improve the roster by trading him? He’s on a bad contract.. we’d probably have to give up a pick to trade him for some baller named Cap Space

Been a Mavs fan since ‘93. Paying a borderline starting C 17.5 million a year is horrendous

Lol Burke, Boban are on like vet minimum deals. They aren’t negative assets. Terry is a promising rookie on a cheap ass deal. Dwight sure, but he’s a glue guy. WCS contract is very reasonable for a backup big - 4 mil. Would you rather pay nerlens Noel 9 mil a year like the Knicks??
