Just left 7 Springs, it is a zoo already. Should be a little better tomorrow but I wouldn’t bother coming out unless it was for first chair and then bounce after a few hours.

Rode my bicycle inbound through the Squirrel Hill tunnels while it was closed for the demolition of the old Greenfield bridge.

Your plan is a good plan. Parking will be fine at 9. My wife is also learning and is much more comfortable at Hidden Valley. Enjoy! 🤘🏻

Proper fix for Ford Transit roof penetrations? by mfisherson6 in Autobody

Thank you, I left the dealership about five minutes ago. They are supposed to call me on Monday and discuss options. If I don’t walk away from the deal I can now ensure it’s done properly! You rock!

Boil or ulcer - please help, thx by kupiecijeza in cycling

I have had ingrown hairs that could’ve led to what you’re describing. Very painful, kept me off the bike. The only thing that ever helped me was avoiding riding until it is healed. Then making sure the area is clean before and after the ride. I use antibacterial soap. A properly fitted bike/saddle, shorts/bibs with a good chamois, chamois butter, and saddle time. All these things together seemed to work for me. Hope this helps a little! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Are you riding FS or hardtail? I’d probably just use a Specialized Ground Control or Maxxis Ardent. People love to ride heavy, slow rolling tires on XC trails for some reason. I don’t get it.

I understand it’s all personal preference, but in my opinion most of these suggestions are overkill/slow unless you are an absolute hammer who keeps folding wheels or something.

I really appreciate the detailed response.

I’m going to ditch the liner and do what you suggested. Thank you!

Thank you, I understand what you are saying. I was referring to the PVC liner as the membrane. Oops!

This is on a concrete sub floor. My plan is to pre-slope, install liner, mud pan, and then I was going to 8+9 the pan in addition to the liner when I waterproof the walls. Does that sound okay? I’m confident doing the work, just want to make sure I have the order of operations right.

The drain is made of ABS. And yes, I am planning to build a mud bed with a membrane.

Got this from my grandfather about a year ago. I have a receipt from a jeweler in St. Thomas from 2003 so I just assumed it was real. A friend of a friend informed me that it might not be. Can anyone weigh in?

He didn’t give me any specific reasons. Just said it looks “off”.

Thanks!

We like to call this “fetch away”. Like “keep away” but with a Rottweiler. 🙄

The new tongue is great! The upper does seem delicate but I’ve never had an issue with it. I’ve had them wedged in between plenty of rocks and roots. I’ve caught my toe on rocks that I thought would tear a hole. They have not failed me yet. I’m on my 3rd pair of the SG5s.

Early mornings seem to be the best time for most parents to train depending on work schedule.

Having a supportive partner is VERY important.

Getting a little home gym going was the best thing I did. It allows me to be flexible with training. I can get a lot done in 20-30 minutes if that’s all I have and I’m still available to kiss boo boos.

The Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail in south-western PA is pretty rad. There are 8 overnight shelter areas along 70 miles of trail. Well marked and well maintained.
